After that incident Paxton decided it was best that they parted ways, remaining friends of course. Maria sat in her room unsure of what to do feeling very bored and upset over the kiss. She wanted it to be something more knowing that the guy had already cheated on her once before. She heard a knock on the door and a soft voice was heard.
"Honey there's someone at the door for you, you might wanna get ready to go out cause he has flowerss!" Her mother spoke in an unusual amount of joy. Maria got on a nice pair of jeans and another top that she found in her moms old 2000s box.

She made it to the door, spotting Ethan conversing with her mom, a large unusual smile plastered on her face.
"Hey Ethan, what's up?" The two stopped their conversation, looking over to Maria, Ethan taking longer to check her out.
"Hey, eyes up here" she pointed to her eyes with a smirk, causing him to smirk alongside her.
"Sorry, can't help but stare love" he got up, towering over her before grabbing her waist to which she didn't refuse due to her mother being there... Also cause she kinda enjoyed his warmth.
"You two have fun on your date" Maria's mom winked obnoxiously. Maria rolled her eyes and Ethan only chuckled, pulling her closer if possible. She really just wanted to leave the house at this point.
"We will ma, thanks" Ethan winked at her before dragging Maria out of the house without warning of where they were headed. She reached out for the door handle until Ethan spoke up.
"Don't you dare even think about touching that handle love" he ran around opening the door for her, allowing her to climb in before he closed the door and got in the drivers side. Maria finally found the words to ask him why she was in his car driving to an unknown location.
"Where are we going?" She asked as they drove out of the driveway, Ethan slowly slipping his hand onto her thigh.
"That'll ruin the surprise" he replied.
"As long as I don't get murdered" she joked.

They eventually arrived at the beach, Maria gasping at the sight. Fairy lights hung from the palm trees, candles lit around the picnic mat that had throw pillows, a blanket and a mini wooden table with a charcuterie board set on top of it containing a variety of her favorite foods.

She excitedly jumped out of the car and raced over toward the setup.
"You did all this?" She smiled and turned to ethan, his proud nod speaking the words he didn't. She gazes at it in amazement.
"I should've worn something more beach appropriate" she chuckled.
"Nah, then I wouldn't be able to do this" he slipped his hand into her back pocket, pulling her close to him and giving her neck a gentle peck. It felt fuzzy against her neck making her giggle. He pulled away and smirked.
"What's so funny hm? Am I funny?" He questioned.
"Funny looking" she snorted before breaking out into laughter, causing him to shake his head.
"Count your seconds love" he spoke before reaching out to her, her feet quick to move as she dashed away from him in a fit of laughter. He soon followed her, a smile forming on his face as well.
She ran to the water, splashing him a little before he picked her up over his shoulder as if she weighed nothing and flipped her into the water. Unfortunately as girls do, she gripped onto his shirt with ease, pulling him into the water with her. When they arose out of the water with soaked clothes, they looked at each other and laughed.
"Cmere baby" Ethan spoke. Once she reached him, he grabbed her hips and pulled her up against his hips, her thighs wrapping around his waist as he held them up with his hands. She wrapped her arms around his neck and smiled, staring into his intoxicating soil eyes.
"You know we're not dating yet right?" He looked at her intrigued.
"Yet?" He raised a brow, causing her to smirk and hit his shoulder.
"You know what I meant"
"I think you mean you want me to ask you out" his smirk remained on his face.
"Would you ask me out?"
"Depends, would you say yes?" She giggled and nodded.
"Well then miss Maria Garcia... Would you do the honour of being my full time girlfriend?" He spoke in a fancy British accent. She smiled and brought her face really close to his.
"Indeed I would mister Ethan Morales" he chuckled before sealing the gap in between them, the pair sharing a passionate kiss in the ocean in front of the sunset canopy. It couldn't get more perfect than that. They pulled away and stared at each other for a bit before Maria broke the silence.
"So... Boyfriend... Pack any spare clothes? Cause I didn't" she chuckled, referring to their drenched bodies. He nodded.
"Indeed I did, I even got you a little something that you might call a little more beach appropriate and what I call easy access" he winked at her causing her to fake gag and get out of the water.
"Hurry up then lover boy" he got out of the water and followed her like a lost puppy toward the nice beach setup. He pulled out a towel and wrapped it around her, giving her a squeeze and a kiss on the forehead.
"Here you go" he handed her a flowly dress that reached her thighs, she could see what he meant by easy access. She finished putting her clothes in the bag before she heard a whistle. She felt her ass slightly sting as none other than Ethan slapped it, causing her to turn and slap his chest lightly. The pair sat down together and enjoyed their evening, talking about anything and everything.
