The Great Hall

"There she is!" Sasha exclaimed, elbowing Hermione.

"Oh, thank Merlin," Hermione said, sighing in relief, and the two girls walked up to me.

"Hey, girls!" I greeted. Before I went to The Great Hall, I ran to my room and changed my outfit so Draco's clothes weren't revealed. I wore a pair of black leggings and a red sweatshirt. "Hogsmeade, today?"

Hermione and Sasha slung their arms around my shoulder and walked me over to the table. Harry and Ron greeted me upon entrance.

"Good mornin'," Ron said. "'Mione over here was crying for you."

"Oh, 'Mione!" I began, putting my head on her shoulder. "I was just on the field looking at the sunrise."

"What did I say!" Sasha boomed. "I told you all!"

Sasha knew that I was lying. You see, Sasha and I had a code we used, and no talking was involved. To this day, people have never found out or noticed. Sasha put her hand on my thigh and held up three fingers. That meant, "I know you are lying". I put my hand under the table and held back three fingers, telling her I did.

"So, as I said before, Hogsmeade?" I asked again.

"Yes, please," Harry agreed. "Let's all go now."

Before we went outside, we all needed our snow coats. I began to follow Hermione out of The Great Hall, but Sasha gripped her hand onto my sleeve and pulled me towards her.

"So, tell me what happened!" Sasha begged.

As Sasha asked me a question, my gaze wandered towards the Slytherin table in search of the platinum-haired boy. I caught sight of him and couldn't help but smile. However, Sasha quickly snapped her fingers to bring my attention back to her, and I refocused on our conversation.

"Right! Promise you won't tell anyone," I said in a low voice.

"I'm your best friend. Relax," Sasha said, annoyed. "Now, tell me!"

"Shush!" I hushed her, making her lower her voice. "I kissed Draco Malfoy twice. I was sleeping in his dorm last night..."

Sasha's eyes widened, and she began to giggle.

"What!" I asked, confused.

"You? Dating the brat?" Sasha asked.

"Well, it's not dating, but it's something," I explained. "And he's not a brat to me."

"Did he kiss you first?"

"Basically," I explained. "He just leaned into my face during detention, and we kissed."

"That's adorable," Sasha squealed. "Now, come on. Hermione, Harry, and Ron probably think we're both missing."

Today, Hogsmeade was colder than usual due to the snowfall. To get warm, five of us entered The Three Broomsticks, hoping to get some drinks. My friend Sasha and I were particularly excited to have our favourite drink Butterbeer. Once the waiter brought our round of Butterbeers, we grabbed our glasses and cheered together by clinking them.

The bell of the restaurant rang as a group of boys walked in. I gasped once realizing who it was.

Draco's Point of View

Crabbe and Goyle were dying to go here today. If I'm being honest, I needed to be here too. Goyle opened the door; I could hear the bell ring as we entered.

I could've sworn I heard a small gasp when I walked in. I looked at the table in front, astounded. Y/N... I thought and could feel the excitement rushing through me. Guess she was surprised to see me. Oh, no... Why on Earth is she here?

"That's impossible," I mumbled, getting seated at a table.

I watched as Katie Bell headed towards the bathroom, followed by Madame Rosmerta carrying a brown paper-wrapped parcel. After a short while, Katie emerged from the bathroom with the bundle in hand and quickly explained something to her friend, Leanne, before leaving the area.

Perfect. I thought.

"We should go now," I heard a voice suggest. Y/N.

I watched as her group paid and then left the place as well. All I could hope was that Katie would get the package to Dumbledore. Then everything would be okay again...

Y/N's Point of View

Sasha and I ran as The Golden Trio walked behind us, laughing. Sasha kicked snow onto me, and we pushed each other around. This felt good; all of us together. Katie and Leanne walked hurriedly in front of us.

There was a loud shriek.

The five of us stopped to see Katie's body on the ground, a brown package tossed to the side, and Leanne with a face of worry.

"I warned her!" Leanne cried. "I warned her not to touch it!"As I watched Katie, her body started to sway from side to side on the ground. Suddenly, she soared into the air. Katie's arms were outstretched, and her head tilted upwards. Her hair flowed around her, and her wide-open mouth gave me chills. Abruptly, she fell back to the ground, hitting the snow and twitching.

Hagrid came by and scolded us, "Get back! All of you!"

Hagrid picked up Katie's body and held her in his arms.

"Do not touch that," Hagrid warned. "Except for the wrappings! Do you understand?"

Harry kneeled to the ground, inspecting the parcel. Inside was an opal necklace.
