Hallway
Oh, poor Hermione... Ron can be such a jerk sometimes. I left Harry and Hermione to talk together for a while. I haven't chatted with Hermione much these days on account of me sneaking off to Draco's room. Speaking of the devil...
Footsteps, but a specific one was something I could hear nearby. They were a bit loud... Were they heels? No, the sound is different; dress shoes! Either a teacher or a student. Oh my God, it might be a teacher!
It was way past curfew, but running off to bed would get me caught. I leaned against the wall and pressed my body against it. I held my breath as the person walked past me. I looked to see who it was, and I couldn't help but smile.
I spotted Draco Malfoy in his black suit and blonde hair, but I hesitated to call out his name, fearing he might ignore me. Instead, I decided to follow him secretly. I felt confident I had some of the best ideas, but my dress shoes clicked as I stepped forward. I unbuckled my shoes and held them as I cautiously trailed behind Draco. Surprisingly, he didn't notice me, probably because he expected me to be in my dorm room. I felt guilty for lying to him, wondering if this was a lost opportunity to get closer to him. I couldn't help but think that maybe he was ready to confide in me.
As I walked through the maze of corridors, I couldn't help but wonder where he was headed. The Room of Requirement? It piqued my curiosity. As soon as Draco and I arrived, I quickly found a hiding spot behind a pile of boxes. Draco walked over to a birdcage where two doves were snuggling. I couldn't help but notice how the moonlight illuminated his pale skin as he reached into his pocket and pulled out a green apple, tightly gripping it.
Draco looked at the wall once, closed his eyes, taking a deep breath in. What is going on with him?
Draco then walked up to a large object with a cloth covering it. He put his hands out, grasping the sheet. He pulled it to the ground, revealing a large cabinet. He ran his fingers over the glossy wood and picked them up afterward, inspecting the dust on them. Draco places an apple inside the cabinet and closes the door. He shuts his eyes and mutters something for a brief moment. Draco opened the door, and it was gone... The apple disappeared. He closed the door once more and waited longer before opening it again. After what felt like forever, he opened it again, finding the apple there again. He reached out for the apple and began to rotate it. His hands stopped once he realized there was a chunk missing.
With all the cluttered objects around me, my nose tingled from all the dust. Oh no... I panicked.
Draco's Point of View
"Achoo!"
What the hell was that? I thought, startled. Did a box move?
I walked over to the boxes and gently pushed one over. A small body was crouched against the ground.
"Y/N?" I exclaimed, stepping closer to her.
She lifted her head, and her big eyes looked into mine.
"Hello, Draco!" she said in a hushful voice. "Did I interrupt?"
"Um..." I began. "Not at all; would you like to come to my room?"
I held my hand out to her. She carefully placed hers into mine. I intertwined my fingers with Y/N's and pulled her from the dusty ground. She brushed off her dress and pulled me over to the door.
"Shall we go?" Y/N asked. "Sorry, I followed you."
I took one more look at the cabinet, "It's alright. Let's go, love."
