I've lived a life of regrets. There's always going to be a new one if not everyday. They make you miserable because you think they're supposed too. Trust me when I say they can only do that because you feel you've lost time, respect, and social standing. Not because of other people but yourself. Life is only short in the grand scheme but we can't truly imagine how big that is. So truthfully it's long.
Everyday isn't a competition. Never regret doing nothing when you could have done something. It's not on you to be built like a machine. Regrets are human. They don't tarnish your soul. Just your happiness and peace. Forgiveness is the answer and that is what everyone should strive for.
