Everything happens for good. How hard this fact becomes for us to accept when we lose any dear one. At that time it's really difficult to accept that has happened for any good. Even if we realise the good point of that incident later the loss remains the same in our hearts. That doesn't get change or that does get rarely in some cases.

Next day Arjun left for office earlier as he had to meet the NRI clients whom he couldn't meet yesterday. Subhanwita left lonely after Arjun's departure. Kritika instructed Subhanwita not to do any hurry in taking all the responsibilities of daughter in law at once. Kritika advised Subhanwita to make the pace easier for her. So, Subhanwita decided to make herself familiar with her new life giving herself some free time before fixing a schedule for her.

Being in room all the day Subhanwita was little bored. She was expecting Arjun to come earlier as he had left for office earlier. As she expected Arjun returned a bit earlier. Wishing him good evening she went downstairs.

After sometime Arjun heard a knock, to which he answered come in. He saw Subhanwita standing with a tray.

"Good evening with freshness of coffee," Subhanwita handed a cup to Arjun

"Coffee for me! Anything to say!" He looked at her flashing an embarrassing smile.

"How do you know that I have something to say?" She sat near him with her cup in her hand.

"To be honest I just guessed," He took one sip of coffee.

"I want to thank you for handling the matter so wisely at my home. I was so hopeless about that," Flashing a look of gratitude she smiled.

"Never fear to face a hopeless situation. Hope hides itself in inaccessible area of hopeless situation. So, if you want to get hope never give away in hopeless situation," His words earned an admiring look from her.

"So beautiful thought, Arjun!" She exclaimed in amusement.

"It belongs to my mom. She used to say like this," His tone turned into a serious one at the very mention of his mom.

"Used to say! What does it mean?" She asked as she smelled something fishy.

"You offered me coffee, but you are having tea!" He diverted the topic as soon as he found an excuse.

"Actually I don't like coffee that much. I love tea. You know, today I missed maa so much," Releasing a sad sigh she too sipped her drink.

"Did you talk to her?" He was also doing the same what she was doing.

"I just couldn't. I know she is still upset with me. When I used to stay home maa never allowed me to sit so quietly. We both either talked or argued," Remembering the past he voice became a bit melancholic.

"Mothers are like this only. They can't tolerate silence of their children for longer," His voice also followed the pace of her melancholy.

"If you don't mind then say something about you mom," She urged.

"I can sense your curiosity behind your urging," He knew about this, of course as her expressions were quite visible to him.

"I am sorry, Arjun. I didn't mean to hurt you," Apologizing him she withdrew her eyes from him.

"I am not hurt due to your question. It had been long to talk about my mom with anyone. In these years no one bother to remember her any day except one day," He stopped before the revelation.

"What was that one day?" She asked in a low voice.

"Her death anniversary," He managed to reply with a blank face.

"I... I... Am.... I am sorry. I am sorry, Arjun," Listening him her cup slipped from her hand which was almost empty.

"Are you fine, Subhi?" The sound pulled him back.

"Why are you getting afraid? It's just a mistake," He assured her who was somehow terrified.

"Actually this revelation was so shocking," She quickly picked up the cup from ground.

"I know that you assumed that woman as my mom. That was why this news shocked you," He knew the obvious reason of her misconception.

"If.... If..... She's not your.... Mom then who's she?" She was lacking of courage to ask without stammering.

"She's my aunt from distance relationship," He was sounding unprepared for that statement.

Placing the empty cup on the table in front he opened up his laptop. With a guilty heart of refreshing his sad memories she exited from there silently.
