Old is gold, this isn't a mere statement. It's the emotion when we utter it remembering our old days. The time which had passed already which won't come back to us we admiring that. There's nothing wrong in that, but while admiring past we become less focused towards our present thinking those golden days of past can never be created again. Being melancholic over a fact is appreciate, that too ignoring the scopes of present time can never be appreciable beyond an extent.
After passing a few days in farm house the time of departure had almost arrived. On the last day of stay at farm house Subhanwita grabbed with her Arjun to make some enjoyable memories there.
"Subhi! Let's take a break," Arjun was huffing while running behind Subhanwita who was riding a cycle.
"Why, Arjun? I am enjoying this," She turned her face while riding cycle to observe his expression.
"But I am not enjoying, Subhi. I have been running behind you since one hour," He stopped to catch the usual pace of breath.
"So, got tired, Mr. Avasthi!" Placing her both legs on ground she too halted with a playful look.
"Humans get tired, Subhi!" He threw a sarcastic glare expecting her to pay him back which he loved.
"But you aren't a human for me," She attempt of switching on to an innocent look was overpowered by the mischief in her eyes.
"Then who am I? Which category have you chosen for me?" He was asking as if he was going to receive any honour from her.
"You are my hero for me, Arjun. Heroes never give up soon," Getting down from cycle she held his arm lovingly.
"Then I am resigning from this post," He faked an disinterested look.
"No, it can't be happened. After signing in for once you can't show your back," Saying so she ruffled his hairs only to laugh at his cute annoyed look.
Raising her hand she wiped his face with the end of her saree, and led him towards the bench under dense shadow of a tree in garden. She handed him a small bottle of juice which he accepted gladly.
"So, you have arranged this before!" He flashed a curious smile while confirming.
"According to you I can trouble you only, right?" The expression which he loved appeared on her face which was nothing else than her sarcasm.
"Never, Subhi. If you call yourself as a trouble then tranquility has to find a new definition for itself. I enjoy whatever you do around me," Holding her hand he smiled wholeheartedly.
Placing his head on her shoulder she combed his hairs to which he surrendered himself.
After spending a sunny afternoon both Arjun and Subhanwita went to visit the hilly area. Sitting at a safe distance they enjoying the greenish scenario around them.
"A scenario like this is rare to find in city, isn't it?" Subhanwita was praising the scenario with a pleasant shine in her eyes.
"Right, time and the greed of luxurious life through technology have changed everything drastically," Arjun eyes held the seriousness which had been missing after coming to farm house.
"Missing old time, right?" She asked.
"Yes, we just can miss that time," Releasing a long sigh he inhaled a little more air grasp calmness for his heart.
"Missing that won't help in healing. Instead of mourning over the past we should look at those moments which come to us with various opportunities to perform better at the place where we are standing. Let your optimistic view to recognise through opportunities over the obstacles," Her words indulged him into a deep eye lock with her. He was getting the meaning of her words which had no intention except his wellbeing.
"Don't think this much deep. I have the fear of getting drown into you," His romantic lines earned a shy smile from her.
"We are going back tomorrow. Do want anything from here to take with you?" He side hugged her placing his chin on her shoulder.
"Yes, I want. I want to take the cool soothing wind of this place," She pressed her lips to control her mischievous chuckle.
"This much only! Ok then, I will say the care taker of farm house to arrange this," Without realising her words he fall into her sweet trap.
"Wait! What did you say?" Lifting his chin from her shoulder he raised eyebrows at her, but couldn't hold that expression as both laughed out simultaneously.
The journey which started with happiness harvested much more of happiness at its completion point. The smiles of couple remained the same framing soulful memories for lifetime.
