Our bonds have many caring connections made by time gradually. Not only happiness but pain also acts like a conjunction to connect two people. More than happiness the connection of pain acts strong, because intensity of pain has a deeper inspiration to imprint on our bonds.

Arjun started to stay comparatively silent after that interaction with Subhanwita. She thought his silence was due to the sadness caused by her unknowingly. Feeling guilty she couldn't dare to approach him to lighten his mood.

Three days passed like this.

"Subha, I have something to share with you," Kritika told when Subhanwita sat near Kritika to spend sometime with her.

"What's that, Grand ma?" Subhanwita's concern rose up in no time.

"Tomorrow it's Prthika's death anniversary. Prithika is your mother in law," Kritika's tone and eyes both saddened at once.

"I got your indication, Grand ma. Don't worry. I will do everything on my own, but your guidance should be with me," Flashing a smile Subhanwita held Kritika's hand.

"Of course, my dear!" Kritika too reciprocated the smile.

Finally the reason of Arjun's sadness came to light. Facing the same day on which we lost some dear one was traumatic, and that was happening with Arjun. Knowing the truth Subhanwita felt a bit relaxed as she had assumed herself as the reason of current situation. Though she was free from guilt yet was sad for Arjun.

Next morning Subhanwita woke up earlier, and started preparing everything required for the day as per tradition. After cleaning and decorating temple of home she headed towards kitchen.

According to tradition a daughter in law should look after all the arrangements of death anniversary of the ancestors belong to her in laws.

"Grand ma, are the preparations completed?" Arjun was surprised after noticing Kritika sitting calmly in hall.

"Nearly completed, Jun!" Kritika replied.

"Do you need any help?" He was concerned about her who handled their family after his mom.

"This time it's not me. Subha is preparing everything, and she doesn't want any help," Astonishment was visible on his face after listening her.

Getting up he went towards kitchen. There he saw Subhanwita was totally engrossed in preparing food. Even no cooks were there who used to cook food on daily basis. She was hopping around alone.

Seeing her like that a flashback became alive in his mind.

Flashback:

"Mom, let me help you in cooking," A five year old Arjun was urging.

"No, dear. I can manage," Prithika denied caressing her son's hairs lovingly.

"Why are you denying? I have seen how much effort you put in cooking food alone. Why don't you allow anyone to help you?" The little boy pouted a bit angrily.
