For any kind of initiation, efforts are necessary from each side, but of those two sides one has to take the lead. This lead inspires the main cause of initiation. For making someone reveal something we have to make that person feel relax about that. The waves of relief reason revelation from someone in the best way.
Subhanwita and Mishika had arranged a small yet beautiful surprise for Aparajit on his wedding anniversary. Framing the joys of past they put on the wall of hall, and decorated those with lovely messages below each photo frame. Both the girls collected those photo with great efforts, some from album and some from the dust of store house.
Aparajit had tears of happiness when the surprise was revealed to him. Hugging both his daughters from both sides he was wishing marriage anniversary to his late wife Prithika. That happiness was totally different for Aparajit who used to wish Prithika each year in melancholy.
"God bless you, my dear! You both made this day special to me in a such way I never had imagined," Aparajit placed hands on Mishika and Subhanwita's heads with happiness beamed eyes.
"This day was always special, Dad. Being in the darkness of sorrow you had been missing the speciality of this day," Subhanwita's words drew deep lines of realisation in Aparajit's heart.
"You are right, Subha. I have made all my dear ones sad holding my sadness dearer to me. I should haven't done that," Aparajit's focus shifted to Arjun who was standing at his place silently.
"Now don't miss the opportunity of enjoying this day by blaming yourself, Dad!" Mishika's authoritative words made Aparajit admire the glint of an affectionate mother in Mishika. Only a daughter is capable of creating that kind of feeling to her father.
"If you continue to do this then you will commit one more mistake," Subhanwita too joined Mishika playing the role of one more motherly figure.
"From now on your dad won't repeat any of his old mistakes. I promise, my angels!" Aparajit side hugged both of them more closely.
After cutting the anniversary cake Aparajit shared some of his beautiful memories with his family. Arjun was a keen listener to the conversation. He knew about the anniversary plan when he had rescued both the girls from store room.
He didn't oppose them, but couldn't support them either. He was even hesitating to attend the celebration. After noticing Subhanwita's care for his father Arjun too wished to get back his old bonding with his father. Subhanwita ignited the feelings in Arjun which he had detached from himself.
He was feeling guilty for being a cold hearted son to his father. He could have acted better than that. Many factors were responsible for making the father and son stand far away from each other.
It wasn't easy for anyone of them to break the walls of distance so easily.
Despite all the haunting memories of past Arjun wished Aparajit with a smile, and shared a hug with him. That was so appreciable amidst of their agonising past.
