Classes ended and I walked towards my friends with a smile on my face.
"Whatcha smiling about?" Amber asked with a grin forming on her face.
"Oh," I removed it, the bubbly happy feeling still not leaving me, "No reason."
Evelin sighed, "Can't be because of a certain person, can it?" Both of the girls looked at me hoping to catch my reaction.
"It's not because of a person." I tried to lie, only to sound stupid.
"It is!" Amber yelled in surprise, "Oh my god, who is it?!" People started staring, so I put a hand in front of her mouth.
"First of, sush, you're loud, second, last night I just had some fun and we're just friends." I said to quickly to my liking.
Evelin snorted, "Yeah sure, I'm heading home now, mom and dad will be there and I don't want to miss them." Her parents often worked long days, otherwise they wouldn't be able to afford the house they lived in of course.
"Bye!" I smiled again.
"God, you look happy. I'm jealous, I want to make you this happy." Amber complained as Evelin disappeared in the crowd called the hallway.
"It's not that weird, I'm always happy." I said in protest, just as Anna walked up to us.
"You usually look bored or anxious when you're at school." She skipped the hi, "Who's the secret boy/ girlfriend?"
"Ehm-" I got cut off.
"I bet it's Blue!" Amber got excited again.
Anna thought it over, before she looked at me, "Oh darn, it is Blue." She grinned, "Who is Blue tough?"
"I-It's not?" I was confused and felt my face heating up slightly, I was happy that I had fun last night while disturbing some birds while splashing water on them. I wasn't going to fall in love or anything.
"Oh god, you don't know who he is..." Amber turned into concerned Amber, "What if he's actually a meany and he just puts on an act?"
"Aren't you just making up stuff?" I asked with a frown, "He can't be bad. I mean, it's Blue, he's a great person." A smile covered my face again.
Anna smiled, "It's lovely to see someone so in love." She adjusted her bag.
"I'm not!" I said on frustration, "I'm telling you!"
"Hi not, I'm Anna." Anna said before she looked on her phone, "It's probably time I head home, bye!"
"Bye." I honestly was relieved to have her leave, as if I were hiding something.
"Good luck confessing to the Blue guy!" Anna called out before she disappeared just like Evelin did.
My face heated up again. I wouldn't, I didn't even have the slightest crush!
"You're turning red like a tomato now." Amber laughed, "I'm so sorry for you." She grabbed my shoulders, "Let's head home!"
We walked home together the most part until we had to part ways.
"Oh, and take your time with Blue, you don't have to confess immediately after you realise." Amber said before she left.
Going home I grumbled about it, complained to my mom while she downed three cups of coffee and then went towards the rooftop to finish the last homework I had.
"Favourite person!" Blue made his appearance and pointed at me.
I rolled my eyes as a smile made its way on my face, "Random idiot!" I pointed back.
