"So where are we going?" I asked as we made our way trough the crowd.
"You'll see! I'm sure you'll love it!" Blue sounded excited as he dragged me along behind him.
I smiled at how boyish he sounded, before I wiped the smile away. It wasn't like that. I still had no feelings for—
"This way." Blue pointed and we walked into a building.
We climbed up the stairs, and I felt like I had to be more wary. I had let my guard down rather soon. Considering how we met and... I couldn't help but think it would be ridiculous if he turned out to be a real serial killer.
"Here we are," Blue opened a door and revealed a rooftop. "This is my second favourite rooftop of all the city." He said with a soft voice.
"Really?" I asked just as soft as I walked in before him. Immediately I walked to the edge and leaned against the small fence for support while I stared at the sight.
My eyes widened as they found the scene of different colours and lights. It was like the scene from the tree, yet distant and more... more colour.
"It's pretty." I whispered as Blue went to stand besides me.
"Yeah..." Blue whispered back. I looked up, only to see him quickly looking looking away me, like he had looked at me... Strange.
A silence fell as me and Blue enjoyed the sight.
"So, if this is your second favourite, how awesome is your actual favourite?" I finally spoke up, my eyes still turned to the city.
"The best place I've ever been..." Blue smiled as the lights reflected in his eyes. "Someone was there when I first came there, she changed my life. I mean, I was going to jump that night, but..."
I quickly looked up at the dude next to me, "WHAT!?" I blurted out, making Blue flinch at the suddenness.
"Don't! You can't!" I looked at him pleadingly, "You can't throw your life away, not when there's so much left..."
I felt distressed, what could I do or say? I just wanted him to stay, I freaked out completely as I started rambling about him not to do... that.
Blue looked at me in silence. Then he nodded and looked away. I blinked a few times as the silence now was saddening. I glanced back at Blue and found him trying to dry his eyes.
"I'm sorry for scaring you like that." He mumbled.
"No, it's okay." I turned to him completely, pulling his arm away from his eyes, "You're my friend, you can tell me that sort of thing. A—And it's fine, I'll be here if you need anyone!" I didn't know what exactly to say, I just didn't want to lose him.
"I changed my mind about throwing my life away." Blue nodded, "It's... complicated, sometimes I forget that I have decided I won't do it, and..." Blue sighed, "Then I see you."
I stayed quite, letting him talk at his own pace.
"Whenever I see you I get filled with hope, like there's something to live for..."
A silence fell, "Thank you for telling me." I said before I wrapped him into a huge hug.
"Sorry it's so sudden." Blue whispered softly, his hands wrapping around me tightly. I felt his chin resting on my head and we stayed like that for a while. I didn't know wether I was comforting him, or he me. Dude he scared me all of a sudden.
"Are you okay now though?" I asked while still in the comforting hug.
"Yeah, I think." Blue whispered, "Slightly tired and conflicted wether I should have told you or not."
"You should've." I mumbled, "Its not good to leave things bottled up."
"You're an angel sometimes." Blue said before he pulled back.
"Only sometimes?" I asked, pulling a smile on my face.
"Yep, now let's do something less depressing." Blue petted my head before he turned to the stairs.
"Can we go back here sometime?" I asked as I followed him. "I wanna paint it."
"Sure." Blue shrugged, he was trying to keep his voice steady, "Anything for my Cherry."
"Oh, come on, still that nickname?" I complained, noticing he didn't want to change the way we acted.
"Yep, you kind of put it on a wall." Blue definitely had smirk on his face as he talked, "Right next to my name."
Rolling my eyes I crossed my arms, "Not really, I just made a Blueberry and a Cherry."
"Right next to each other." Blue laughed before he slipped his hand into mine. "How about some food? I'm kinda hungry."
"Hah, so that's why you wanted to leave the rooftop." I said as if seeing right trough him.
Blue rolled his eyes before he bumped my shoulder slightly. "Thanks for being my friend." He said suddenly.
"Well, you're welcome." I said sincerely, before I grinned, "Not many people get the honours."
Blue laughed, "Had to ruin the moment, didn't you?"
"It made you laugh!" I defended myself. Making Blue make fun of me.
We laughed all trough the night, not even thinking about going home once.
Only when I realised school was starting within an hour did I remember it existed and went home to freshen up slightly.
When Blue left I sighed. A smile crossed my face as I felt a warm feeling spreading trough me. Despite so much trouble, tonight was alright. I had decided that I wouldn't ever leave Blue alone. I wouldn't be able to live if I even noticed a slight change in his 'decision'...
