Sipping my soda I looked at the canvas on the easel, the real one that Blue got me. I had been working on the painting for hours now, but it still missed something.
I put down the can absent minded before I saw the can started toppling over. Saving it, I breathed in relief as it didn't fall, one second passed as I starred at the drops on the can. The day was warm, almost summer temperature, yet summer was still a month away.

Then it hit me, "Rain drops!" I called out as my eyes skipped back to the canvas, "That's genius! I'm amazing!" I got that exited. Grabbing new brushes I ended up working for hours more, finally finishing the piece when night started to fall.

I slowly started cleaning up, I didn't know who would judge me if I didn't, but I wanted my stuff to stay safe.
"No...!" A voice called out sadly, "Don't leave yet... Cherry...!"

Turning to the person I rolled my eyes, "Stop calling me that or I'll make up a worse name for you." I put the last thing in my backpack, the easel still stood in all its glory, holding the painting.

"Whoa, that looks sad, but still pretty." Blue walked up to the painting, "Did you just make it?" He asked after a while.

"Nope, Santa came by." I joked before I got up and walked towards him, leaving my backpack a while off. Hesitating to make the comment, I decided to do it anyway, "So, you had a good sleep last night?" A smile creeped its way up my face as Blue visibly paused.

Before I could proces it tough, two arms wrapped around me, "You improve my life." The voice of Blue said softly as he rested his chin on my head.
Feeling my heart beating in my chest I didn't know if I was simply traumatised because of past events or if I was... nope, made my decision, I was traumatised. I wasn't going to fall in love again.

"I know." I smiled as confidently as I could, stepping away. With my hand I grabbed the end of my sleeves. Fucking hell, why can't you just be normal? I let go of my sleeves and took a breath. I was ok.

"I need to know your favourite song." Blue said suddenly. I looked up to find him grabbing something from his backpack. He showed me a small speaker.
Night fell as we hung out, talking about everything, and nothing at all with music in the background. Blue and me had the same taste in music, which made it very awesome to hang out.

"What if a meteor hit the earth and got everyone instinct." I asked while looking up at the empty looking dark and gloomy sky. "And you could chose one person to survive, who would it be?" The music had created the vibe to contemplate the meaning of life and to ponder about the strangest of things.

Blue shrugged, "Probably you."

"Oh."

"What if a bear threatened to kill your friends, would you kill the bear and threaten your own life or run?" Blue asked.

"Definitely save my friends, I'd rather go down with them than have that guilt." I said.

"Probably same, but you're kinda the only friend I'd actually safe." Blue admitted.

"Oh."

"You say a lot of oh." Blue didn't change his tone.

"Oh." I gave him a smile.

"Of course," Blue nodded, "Very wise words."

"...oh." I challenged him.

"You can pull my mask off if you stop." Blue told me, amusement in his voice.

"Really?" I asked in surprise, sitting up halfway.

Blue laughed, "No."

I glared, "Oh." I repeated now harshly. So rude of him.

Hearing Blue laugh harder I rolled my eyes, he had tricked me into saying something else then 'oh'.
"I'm so sorry for laughing, but you aren't going to see my face any time soon." Blue ended his laughter.

"Why not?" I crossed my arms, "I'm quite sure you can't be more ugly than me."

Blue paused, "But you're pretty." He said in a strange voice. He then looked away, an unreadable look on his face.

"Lol." My voice sounded dry. Letting out a chuckle I changed the subject.

All of a sudden we found ourselves in the park again. We had figured to take a walk and stopped at the park.
The lake we were at reflected the streetlights and the moon, the slight waves creating shadows. A few ducks and other water animals were sleeping far off, their beaks in between their feathers.
Of course when you're in this setting, a game of tag was a necessary thing. "Your it!" Blue called out as he touched my hair.

"Wel hair doesn't count, obviously." I turned temporarily to call that out while Blue ran after me.

Blue rolled his eyes before he stopped. I took a moment to catch my breath while Blue didn't seem bothered by the running at all. Then he asked the most random question, "Can you swim?"

I frowned, "yeah..?" I wondered why he wanted to know that, before I got pushed backwards. My feet stumbled backwards before they lost footing. The next moment water seeped into my clothes. To be fair, my knees hit the ground, so it definitely wasn't deep, but it was cold. Sitting in the small bit of water I gasped at the cold feeling before I heard Blue laughing loudly.

"You jerk!" I called out while cracking a smile myself. I got up and pulled Blue in the water as well.

"No-no!" Blue called out before I heard a loud splash and some water splashed onto my face, getting me even more wet.
Now it was my turn to laugh.

We continued making each other wet, water got everywhere and we woke up the water birds. All the while we laughed and had the best time of our lives.

"Oi!" Someone called out while walking towards us with big angry strides.
In the light of the streetlights I couldn't see much, but I found it was an older man with greying hair.
"Can't you see that god damn sign?" He pointed while shouting at us. Blue and me looked at each other and shrugged, we both didn't know what the fuck. "It says 'no swimming'! It is highly disrespectful and you'll..." he kept on going.

Blue rolled his eyes before he got up, holding a hand out to me. I took it and got up from the water as wel. As we got out of the water I noticed the man was nearing. Blue took one look at me, still holding my hand, before he took off running, pulling me with him.
We laughed while the man yelled after us to come back, and that he'd call the authorities.

We got out of the park and stopped after a few streets so we could laugh awhile sitting down on the sidewalk.
"Oh my god." Blue laughed, "I think we just outran a Karen."

I could only laugh harder, wiping away tears that formed in my eyes.
A while later I went home as we were both wet and I figured Blue would catch a cold or something. I myself wasn't one to get sick quickly. Ignoring the fact that I was wet, I realised that was the most fun I had had in ages.
I loved hanging out with Blue.
