"Boo!" A voice called out behind me.Letting out a small squeal I sat upright from my curled up position, my pencil falling out of my hand.
I looked behind me to find Blue laughing at me."Not funny." I couldn't help but smile slightly despite how hard I tried to glare.
I grabbed my pencil, inspecting the drawing for any damage. The pencil had made a small line over the drawing. Seeing this I sighed."Oh, did I ruin it?" Blue asked in concern as he crouched down to be able to fit underneath the hut-thing. "I didn't mean to do that, sorry."
"No its fine." I shrugged it off despite my annoyance. I closed the sketchbook and looked up, the excitement I felt the day prior started to creep up on me again. I didn't even know where we were going, and Blue wouldn't say either.
"So where did you want to go?" My curiosity started spiking. I found Blue had two backpacks with him, one seemed fuller than the other."Wouldn't you like to know." Blue teased as I already knew he wouldn't say.
"Oh shut up." I put down the sketchbook and crossed my arms, "At least give me a clue." I looked up at him.
"Let's think..." Blue tapped his finger to his chin in thought before looking at me, "Nope!" His eyes smiled as he said it in a cheerful voice.
Unable to suppress my own smile I rolled my eyes, "Fine then, be ready to face all of the questions."
Blue let at a small chuckle before he got up, grabbing my arms and pulling me up as wel.
"Let's get going!" Blue called out, "If you couldn't tell, I'm excited!" He said while he put his hand into mine, pulling me towards the door of the staircase."Must be a nice place then." I said while I thought, "Maybe something active...?"
I looked for his reaction, but he simply laughed. We walked down the stairs as he held my hand."You're trying to find clues, aren't you?" Blue asked, he was amused at my lame try.
"Wouldn't you?" I tried a different tactic, "I mean, a complete stranger takes you to a mysterious spot, somewhere near the underground..." I gave him a slightly suspicious look.
Blue stopped walking down the stairs, looking up at me, "You still think I'm a complete stranger?" He gave me some sort of puppy eyes.
The puppy eyes worked. I felt bad now...
"Wel— I—I mean—" I tried to look for words, not having expected the conversation to take that turn."I'm joking." Blue chuckled, taking my second hand in his. "It's respectable to say that." He definitely looked insecure about the subject or something.
As I looked into his eyes I found a bit of hurt. A moment passes as neither of us said anything, before I cleared my throat."Not that I'm impatient, but..." I dragged out the 'but', "...When are we going?"
Blue laughed softly, "Whenever you want, Cherry." He let go of one hand, still holding the other and dragged me along further down the stairs.
"Oi!" Mr. Morty shouted once more, somehow he was awake again, "You, girl form number 174!"
I rolled my eyes, "Sorry for the noise Mr. Morty!" I called out, stopping on the stairs just in time so I wouldn't bump into Blue. His eyes glared at the old man as he rested on his cane. He stood in the hallway just in front of his apartment door. "Let's go." I whispered to Blue, hoping he'd hurry already.
"Keep it down next time! And tell your parents to shut up their arguing as well!" He raised his cane slightly.
I frowned, why were mom and dad arguing? Before the cane got even slightly close Blue caught it in his hand with a glare, "Who the fuck even are you?" He looked angry, I noticed.
Whoa, unexpected memory of my ex trying to act tough and to then beat me up for trying to laugh about it. Haha, what an eventful past I had.
