"It's a cherry." Blue explained as he held up the paper. On the paper was a messy scribble with a crimson red and forest green.
We sat in the park nearby on a bench overlooking a small lake.
The park was empty safe for the cat lying a while off on a bench and the occasional bird flying around. Most of the park was covered in neatly cut grass and a tree here and there. Occasionally you saw a path or a large clump of plants together. Some light posts lit up the place, one standing right behind us.
"Ehm..." I put on my best poker face, "It looks great." I lied with a smile, "I could have totally guessed what it was."
In truth I had guessed it was a dog. Don't say whatever you're going to say, it looked legitimately like a dog! (Even though it was red and green)
We only had thirty seconds to draw something random, that was the challenge. For fun we decided to use the colours of each other's 'names'.
Blue chuckled, "You suck at lying."
"Sorry." I apologised immediately, unable to keep in a chuckle, "Sorry— I didn't mean to be rude about it."
"Well, lets see yours then." Blue gestured at the paper.
"O-okay." I got nervous, but handed over the paper anyway.
"A blueberry!" Blue chuckled, "That's cute, I had expected a Smurf or something."
I burst out in laughing, before I quickly shut up. I pulled some hair away from my face as cleared my throat, still giggling a little, "I hope you weren't seriously expecting it."
With a hint of a smile Blue shook his head. "It actually looks pretty good, how'd you manage to make it look so detailed?" Blue asked.
"School teaches you loads of valuable skills." I admitted. "It's so boring you're forced to practice doodling."
The simple drawings had thought me to draw quick circles and to judge about the art quickly, along with a few other things— I'll stop rambling about art.
Blue looked up at the trees which were lighted up by the street lanterns and the building we sat close to.
"There's a squirrel in the tree!" He said excitedly, "Look!" He pointed.
Confused I looked at where he pointed, squirrels never came to a city, right?
"What's it doing in a city?"
"I hired him to help me rob a bank." Blue said with a serious face.
I frowned, "But it's a..." I was about to say 'squirrel' but then I realised he was joking, "oh."
Blue started laughing, "It's so easy to mess with you!" He laughed.
"Honestly, I was the first to trick you," I quickly added, "last time I managed to figure out more about you." A smile was put on my face despite the protest.
"That doesn't count." Blue crossed his arms and said jokingly, "Face it, I'm simply..." He looked for words, "better than you."
I couldn't help but laugh, it wasn't even that funny. Blue joined in with laughing a little.
When we both calmed down from the funny mood a comfortable silence fell.
"Have you ever climbed into a tree?" Blue suddenly asked.
A small frown appeared on my face, "I don't know... why are you asking?"
"That one," Blue pointed to a big tree in the distance that towered over the park, "gives you the best view, the best view near the park anyway, but you've got to climb it first."
"In that case, last one is a chicken nugget!" I got up in a rush and started running.
"Cherry...!" Blue called out before running after me.
I arrived at the tree touching it just before Blue, "First!"
"That's not fair—" Blue started, but I cut him off.
