Rose's voice cracks, pain clear in every aspect of her appearance.  She sports many deep cuts on her face and her arms, wounds inflicted by the monster looming over her.

"Why?!  What gave you the right to put me through so much pain?"  There's anger there as well, driven by fear and hopelessness as she staggers back to her feet, clutching her bleeding side as her breathing grows ragged.

My gaze does not waver as I smiling slightly,  my eyes glimmering with amusement.  "You are the main character, love.  Surely you know the rules?"

Rose seems crestfallen.  Her arms drop limply to her sides.

"But me being the main character, your victim.  Doesn't justify anything.  You're still the villain."

I scoff with half disappointment and half interest.  Her words mean nothing to me. "I'm well aware of that and believe me, I've become accustomed to the role.  I think it suits me quite well, no?"

This... person facing Rose does not seem like they'd be capable of such horrendous acts, however it's clear that they are not an innocent person.

"You killed my best friend!  How are you so okay with that?  Not to mention the torture I endured while you were sitting up here all high and mighty!"  Rose snaps, glaring at the other sharply.

"Don't forget I went through the same thing you did!  We're the same person.  I understand your anger.  I went through the same pain you did!  I just... reacted differently." My own anger is showing through now, despite my best attempt to hide it.

Rose scoffs, her eyes narrowing.  "You're not me.  I'd never do something like that."

"Wouldn't you?"
