Do you like being lied to?
Good because what I'm about to say is just one big lie so prepare yourself.
As a child, I grew up in Arizona which is widely known to be desert. Lots of snakes and stuff so I'm not very afraid of those types of things. Right? I mean who would be scared of a snake they're pretty harmless. Anyways, most of my school's were quite small and because of that, I got to know the people in my grades quite well. However, my social skills are still trash. I'm terrible at communication despite having to constantly talk to people. Anyways there was this girl named Sarah and she was the type of princess that every guy wanted.
Picture perfect and pretty with blonde hair and blue eyes. Nowhere near my appearance which I considered to be blemished. Of course, as a child that was just me and now I regard myself with much higher appreciation. However Sarah was quite a confident young girl and throughout my middle school through high school years, she was just there. In the background. We never really talked much. Not friends or enemies, just strangers.
I never got to know her much until the end of high school, when both of our friend groups decided that we weren't good enough for them and we were discarded like trash. Sarah and I became best friends. We shared the same interests, collecting stones and gems of all kinds. We even attempted to start a band together since I played the trombone and she played flute but to no avail. At the end of high school, during the summer, we kept in touch. We went to pool parties even though I didn't know how to swim and I even grew to start liking cats because of the two she owned.
However the stars apparently had different plans because Sarah suddenly broke off contact with me. No warning, no changes, nothing. I was simply ghosted by her. Which of course, feels quite awful. However as time passed, I began to admit defeat and stop trying to contact her. To this day, I still don't know what happened between us and her account still follows me on Wattpad, even though no one will respond to the messages I send to her.
