Chapter 14

Day stayed silent and didn't say anything more, but he was still lying behind Itt. Itt was tense because he wasn't sure what Itt would do. Day pulled Itt closer and nuzzled his nose into Itt's back, surprising him.

"Day, what is wrong with you?" Itt asked.

"..." There was no reply from Day.

"Day, what are you planning to do, you bastard?" Itt asked again with a slightly irritated tone. Day's arms tightened tighter than before.

"It's nothing. I just have something on my mind," replied Day in a low voice. This made Itt feel uncomfortable. He tried to turn and move away from Day, but Day hugged him tighter.

"Stay still! I'm just hugging you. Where are you trying to go? Are you going to stop, or do you want me to do more?" Day said sternly. Itt stopped moving as he let out a heavy sigh.

"Damn it, Day! I'm just trying to turn around to face you. You don't want me to turn around? Can't I?" Itt said, getting frustrated with Day, and he continued to scold Itt. Before he could ask anything else, Day loosened his embrace. Itt then turns around to face Day.

"Ow! Why did you slap me on my mouth?" Itt said because when he turned around, Day raised his hand and popped him across the mouth. It wasn't hard, but it surprised Itt.

"You dare raise your voice at me?" Day said softly before laying on his back with his hand on his forehead.

//Damn it! When I turn around, the tiger just attacks me // Itt muttered under his breath to himself. Day looked at him.

"I'm tired, idiot. Do you want me to hit you? Shall I hit you right now?" Day asked as he turned around, but Itt recoiled in shock, not realizing that Day heard what he was muttering under his breath.

"I'm joking," Itt replied, knowing Day didn't buy it. Silence echoed through the room, letting Itt know that Day must have a lot on his mind. Otherwise, the strong figure would not be this calm.

"Are you thinking about your brother?" Itt decided to ask. Day narrowed his eyes at Itt.

"Who else, in my life, would I be thinking about?" Day answered calmly. The pain in Itt's chest returned, but the thin figure tried to ignore it.

"Then why did you ask about Ai' Gear's parents? What do they have to do with him?" Itt asked curiously. Day turned to look at him.

Ring... Ring... Ring...

Day's phone rang before he could say anything. A strong hand reached out and grabbed the cell phone off the bedside. Day frowns when he sees the number that calls.

"What's up, Fu?" Day immediately answered his friend's call because Fu was taking care of Night.

- ("Ai' Day!! Night disappeared from the hospital room. I searched all over the room and couldn't find him," Fu's restless voice sounded through the phone. As soon as Day heard this, he jumped up and sat on the bed. Itt, who was lying next to him, was startled by this, and sat up too.

"What do you mean, my brother is gone?!! Weren't you watching him, Fu!?" Day shouted when he saw Itt's equally shocked expression.

- ("I went downstairs to get my things from my car. He was asleep before I went down,") Fu said nervously.

"Damn it!! What the hell is going on?... Is it that bastard, Gear... He doesn't give up easily, right?" Day said loudly because now the only person Day can think of is Gear. Day's heart was burning like it was on fire. He was worried about his brother, who left while he was sick.

- ("Day, maybe it wasn't Gear that took Night?")," Fu said.

"I'll go find him. Maybe I can find Night at the hospital where Gear is," Day said impatiently. He didn't care to listen to reason. In his heart, he just wants to find his brother. Day ended the call and jumped out of bed.
