Special Chapter 2 - Christmas🎄🎅🔞

"Day. Day... I'm going out to the mall with Nick," a voice calls out to the tall figure sitting on the sofa in front of the TV. Day is busy reading through the income and expense report for his salon.

"What are you going to do?" Day asked quietly, his eyes not leaving the reports in front of him.

"I'm going to buy some groceries and snacks," Itt said again.

"I'll take you there," Day said again. Itt frowned.

"Well, how are you going to take me? You're still sitting there working," Itt complained back in a hoarse voice.

"Just wait for me to finish my work. It won't take me long. Why are you in such a hurry to leave?" Day said before turning to look at Itt's expression.

"Well, why don't you let me go by myself," Itt said back.

"You're acting suspicious," Day replied shortly.

"What the hell? How am I acting suspicious? I want to hang out with my friends sometimes. You say this like we can't go off and do anything without each other," Itt said in an annoyed tone.

"What time will you be back?" Day asked.

"Late," Itt replied shortly.

"Be back no later than 5:00 p.m.," Day said. Itt's eyes widened.

"Will you let me go?" Itt asked immediately. Day nodded before turning his attention to the income and expenses in front of him.

"Okay, I'll be back soon. I'll call Nick to tell him to get ready," Itt said happily. This was the first time Day has allowed Itt to go anywhere without Day trying to control where he goes, like he usually does. Itt changed his clothes after calling his best friend, who lived downstairs. Before leaving, Itt walked over to Day. He was still sitting in the same spot.

"Day, do you know what today is?" Itt asked with a smile.

"Tuesday," Day replied. Itt looked at Day with disgust. Day turned to look at him before picking up a nearby calendar to show him.

"My answer wasn't wrong," Day said, handing the calendar over to Itt. He took it and looked at it before lightly sighing.

"Oh... you're right. Today is Tuesday," Itt said, letting out another sigh.

"I'd better go, now," Itt complained before getting up and walking away. Day turned to look at Itt. He shook his head and smiled. Itt went down to meet Nick in the parking lot.

"What took you so long?" Nick grumbled.

"I was talking to Day. He's crazy... How could he not know what day it is today?" Itt complained to his friend.

"He probably forgot," Nick said.

"Probably so, but I would like to see him get excited about this kind of holiday," Itt said softly.

"Well, maybe it will come to him later. By the way, aren't you from Chinese descent? Why are you so excited about today?" Nick said jokingly to his friend, who seemed to be excited about Christmas.

"Well, it's Christmas. It's a festive holiday. I'm very excited about it. What about you and Neil?" Itt asked back.

"He knew it was Christmas because he celebrates this holiday with his family in England every year, but it didn't work out that way this year. That's why I'm going to buy some groceries to cook for us tonight," Nick said, causing Itt to think about Neil's family because he didn't look like he was from England at all.

"Okay, then let's go. He told me I needed to be back by 5:00 p.m.," Itt said before driving the car to the large department store near the condo. When they walked inside the mall, it was decorated with holiday festivities. A huge Christmas tree was in the center of the mall. Maybe employees were dressed up as Santa's helpers and were inviting customers to take pictures. Nick and Itt walked into one of the supermarket sections to buy what Neil had asked Nick to pick up.
