"No," Neil answered shortly, continuing to watch TV. Nick wrinkled his nose slightly.
"You're mean," said Nick before sitting down to watch some TV.
"Neil," the small figure called out.
"What?" Neil replied.
"I'm hungry," said Nick. Neil turned to look at Nick for a moment.
"Go eat by yourself in the kitchen. Make whatever you want to eat," Neil said back.
Nick got up and went into the kitchen. He opened the refrigerator to find some ingredients to cool dinner. He found a fair amount of fresh ingredients.
Nick thought to himself that Neil must be hungry, too. So, he made a meal for the two of them.
Neil, who had been on the couch watching TV for a while, noticed that Nick had been gone for a while. So, he got up and went to the kitchen to look for him.
He froze when he saw the small figure in an apron, standing in front of the stove. Nick was a little spooked when he heard someone walking behind him, so he turned around.
"I've put on your apron, I guess," Nick said with a smile.
"It's okay. I don't usually wear it anyway. What are you doing here?" Neil asked when he saw shrimp and squid curry paste with clear soup, soft tofu, and minced pork on the dining table. He saw Nick also fry an omelet.
"Well, I cooked for you. I am making rice, too. The rice is done, but I'm waiting for it to heat up a little more. I'm almost done frying the minced pork omelet, too," Nick said. Neil looked at the same figure in disbelief. Nick turned to look at Neil again.
"Hey, you're stunned. Are you interested in me yet? I'm a housewife," Nick said jokingly.
"Huh? You're trying to be, but I'm not eating. What's would you do if I ate and got diarrhea?" Neil couldn't help saying, but Nick only looked back at him.
"Wait. I'll take you to the hospital. Ah, I'm done. Sit down, and I'll give you some food," Nick said, turning off the gas stove and putting the omelet on a plate in the middle of the table. Neil sat down.
The smell of the food in front of him made Neil's mouth water a little. Nick places some rice on a plate for Neil and himself.
He sat on the opposite side of the table from Neil. Neil looked at the food in front of him before scooping the stir-fried curry paste on his plate. Nick watched him excitedly. Neil tasted everything without saying a word.
"How is it?" Nick asked when he saw Neil had finished tasting everything.
"Mmm, it's good enough to eat," Neil said, frowning at Nick.
"No... any food can be good enough to eat. I want to know if it tastes delicious or not," Nick said in a sensitive tone. Neil secretly laughed at Nick's expression.
"Quit making that expression, for once. It's all delicious," Neil said. At first, he planned on continuing to tease Nick, but he was afraid that Nick would be too hungry. So, he admitted that it was very delicious.
"Really?" Nick repeated.
"If not, how could I eat it? Enough with the questions. Just eat," Neil said before the two of them started eating together until everything was gone. Nick volunteered to wash them dishes himself.
"Actually, you don't have to wash them," Neil said as he stood and washed the dishes.
"No, you're trying to give me a place to stay," Nick said. Neil didn't ask any more questions before we walked into his bedroom. He came out with a pillow and blanket and placed them into the living room. Nick walked out of the kitchen.
