The next day Enid woke up. Not sure of everything that happened yesterday she sat up. A sudden sharp pain crawled her back into her head. Remembering the argument that she had with everyone.
Everyone except Wednesday. She was leaving. Just like that she was no longer going to be with her in the dorm. She had just gotten back with her and now she was going to be separated from her once again. This time forever.
Not only that but the discussion she had with Ajax about this certain friendship also made her feel sick. Seems like no one likes her new friend. No one except for her childhood friend Claire and young Tobias.
[ Great. Just what I needed right now. More problems...] (E)
"Huh... I'm crying-" (E)
"Of course... this is so unfair..." (E)
The door opens and Wednesday enters. Not saying a word she starts to unpack right away.
For a few minutes. Enid is just looking at her in shock. Her tears simply go away. Wednesday isn't crying. She isn't expressing any type of sadness. Typical of her Enid thought.
Although, she did look down.
[Wait? How could I know? She's always had that poker face expression] (E)
[She stopped-] (E)
Wednesday stops packing her things and stares right at her typewriter. Standing there in silence.
"I could- um help you pack up?" (E)
". . ." (W)
"I'm going to take that as a yes..." (E)
And so she did. Enid helped Wednesday pack up. Starting with the clothes she had unfinished packing inside her suitcase.
At this Wednesday moved again. Grabbing her typewriter and shutting it close.
[Quick this is my chance!] (E)
" I can't believe I'm actually going to miss your creepy, lifeless eyes waking me up every morning. It won't be the same without you." (E)
"So, I assume you'll be moving in with Yoko. Leaving me in the past." (E)
"Not ever." (E)
[I will never be able to forget you...] (E)
"What about you? Will you forget about me?" (E)
"Enid... The mark you have left on me is indelible. Anytime I grow nauseous at the sight of a rainbow or hear a pop song that makes my ears bleed, I'll think of you." (W)
[SHE WON'T FORGET ME! I mean, arnhem, good to know, good to know...] (E)
[The hell Enid??] (Enid number two inside her head) (yes I am giving Enid two Enids inside her head.)
"Thanks. I guess." (E)
"I was believed relying on other people to be a sign of weakness. That inevitably they would leave me to disappointment. Turns out I've been the disappointed." (W)
"Are you kidding me! I've learned so much from you. Part of it is admittedly criminal behavior but... most people spend their entire lives pretending to give zero F's and you literally never had an F to give. Any chance you've got some sort of sneaky plan to elude Weems?" (E)
"Xavier's right. This prophecy cannot come true if I'm not here. But it kills me to leave when Tyler is still walking around free." (W)
"If he tries anything, we have a school full of gorgons, vampires, and werewolves, ready and waiting. We've got this Wednesday. I promise. On a good note, I got a text from Eugene's moms. He woke up last night. Maybe Weems will let you drop by on your way to the station." (E)
"I think we're all set." (W)
"Thing, I'm going to miss our makeup tutorials and you better keep sending me moisturizing tips. Stay in touch, okay? . . . . . . So, we're gonna-" (E)
Wednesday evades Enid again- "You're right- Not hugging is kind of our thing." (E)
Wednesday Leaves the dorm. Leaving Enid alone for good this time. (Or so it was planned 😀)
"Well, that's over with. Now I can't get the no hugging thing off my mind. Ugh~ I should've just gone for it..." (E)
"Enid?" (A)
"Wed- Oh... Ajax, what a- surprise." (E)
"I came here to apologize. I didn't want well actually none of us wanted Wednesday out of the academy but in the heat of the argument a lot of things were going down everyone's mind." (A)
"So?" (E)
"We just came from talking to Wednesday and kind of apologizing to her. Also, she warned us, which is not odd of her to do at this point but she looked really determined this time." (A)
"She always looks determined." (E)
"Yeah, well um. I thought maybe we could hang out. To um- amend things as yesterday night didn't go as planned." (A)
". . ." (E)
"If that's fine with you of course. I don't want to push it or anything." (A)
[Ajax is right. Maybe I should get my head out of the whole Wednesday departure.] (E)
"Okaay." (E)
