Stark Mansion July 25th, 2010
"I'm actually going to fall asleep standing up." Bella yawned as they stepped through the front door of the Stark Mansion. Only a few hours earlier Tony had announced he was Iron Man, much to the shock of Bella and the world. But was she honestly that surprised? He was too egotistical to let a secret like that be hidden for long.
"Yeah, I know you're tired Be." He smiled down at her and rubbed her shoulder.
But when they stepped inside the entry, they immediately knew something was wrong. There was an alarm going off, and all the lights were out. "Jarvis!" Tony called, his voice echoing off the walls of the large house.
"Welcome home, sir." The AI's voice was distorted and then cut out. It sounded as if it were speaking underwater.
"'I am Iron Man'." A deep voice spoke from the living room. "You think you're the only superhero in the world?" A man dressed in all black with an eyepatch stepped into the light. "Mr. Stark, you've become part of a bigger universe. You just don't know it yet." His tone was ominous and sent shivers up Bella's spine.
"Who the hell are you?" Tony stepped in front of Bella, shielding her in case this mysterious man was a threat.
"Nick Fury, Director of SHIELD." The name SHIELD sounded familiar, and she realized it was the agency Agent Coulson worked for.
"Ah." Tony said nonchalantly but still stood in front of Bella.
"I'm here to talk to you about the Avengers Initiative."

Andddddd scene! Act 1 is done! I hope you guys enjoyed it. There was lots of character development between both Bella and Tony. Also there relationship has improved so much! I just love their dynamic and it will get even better as the story progresses!
The first chapter of Act 2 will be posted next Friday so stay tuned for that! Also this story recently passed 1k! I cannot thank you guys enough, it means so much to me that people enjoy reading this!
