Onyx slowly came back to consciousness. Her head pounded, and her mouth was dry. She opened her eyes to the sight of several well-dressed adults. She sat up with a groan and held her head, noticing the other ninja do the same. "Thank goodness you're here!" An old man exclaimed. "What happened? Where's Lloyd? And who are all of you?" Kai asked, shaking his head. "We're the teachers, and we've all been taken prisoners. We've tried to teach the boys how to be good, but they overthrew us. They're monsters!" An old woman exclaimed.

"But I thought Lloyd was getting an honorary degree?" Jay questioned. "Oh, that was just the boys' trick to lure Lloyd here and convince him to be their leader," Noble said. Onyx hissed in frustration. "I knew it was suspicious," she grumbled. "What? There's not gonna be cake?!" Cole cried. Onyx groaned. "No! There's not gonna be cake, and we won't be eating anything ever again if we don't get out of here!" She exclaimed. "I have a battering ram function. We could utilize that to escape," Zane volunteered. The ninja and teachers stared at him. "I don't know why you have that, but okay," Onyx said. Zane flipped his arm open and flicked a switch, limbs snapping together as he stiffened.

Onyx and the others picked him up and slammed his head against the door, to no avail. "Ugh. We're never gonna open that door. I hope they haven't turned Lloyd. I don't think things can get much worse," Kai muttered. Onyx flicked Zane's switch again, and he loosened and picked himself up from the floor, shaking his head. "Look, don't worry, guys. I told Nya I'd meet her at the autobody shop, and since I'm so punctual, if I'm even one second late, she's gonna suspect something's wrong," Jay said.

Onyx twisted her fingers together. The students could be doing anything to Lloyd. "If we don't get out, they might hurt Lloyd or try and turn him evil again," she said antsily. "Not to mention never taste cake again," Cole said. "Forget about the cake!" Onyx ordered. Zane held his chin. "Principal Noble, how well do you and the teachers know this building?" He asked.

"We barely know it at all, actually. We're new. The old teachers were highly committed to teaching evil and quit in protest when the school went good," Noble responded. "So if the school building was originally built for evil, don't we have to assume there are hidden passages, which none of you would even know about?" Zane pressed. "Hey, you're right. It just wouldn't be an evil school without hidden passages!" Cole agreed. "Okay, everyone. Look for a hidden switch. It could be anything: a book, a tile, a fixture," Kai instructed.

Everyone in the room began poking around, pulling and twisting random objects. "I found it!" Jay cried as he pulled on a book. There was a metallic clicking, and then the ceiling began to slowly lower towards them. "For the love of the Engineer's Thumb! That's not right," one of the teachers cried. If they hadn't just been put in a life-threatening situation, Onyx would've been able to appreciate the literary reference. "Aha!" Cole cried, rotating a fake plant. However, instead of opening a door, spikes emerged from the ceiling. Onyx's face paled. "Why was Darkly so evil!?" She shouted.

"Here!" Zane exclaimed, tilting a lamp, which caused the back of the fireplace to slide away, revealing a dark passageway. "Let's go!" Jay cried, leading everyone inside. As they slowly walked down the corridor, Onyx froze. She could see something moving but couldn't make it out through the shapes of all the people around her. A black little thing reached down from the ceiling and poked Jay in the head. "Haha, stop tickling me, Kai!" He said. "I'm not," Kai said. "Guys! There's something else in here," Onyx said urgently. "Zane, give us some light," Kai ordered.

Onyx saw Zane press a button, and a moment later, his hands started glowing, illuminating the passageway and revealing the presence of hundreds upon hundreds of spiders. Onyx recognized them as the deadly venomous Spykors. Even though they weren't common, everyone knew what they looked like and to avoid them at all costs. They were known for their nasty habit of using paralytic venom and slowly eating their prey. "I'd rather get impaled," Onyx said, edging behind Noble.
