Onyx and the others carefully arranged leaves and sticks around the Bounty, camouflaging it from any unwelcome guests. She looked out at the jungle, eyes narrowing. This island felt wrong. There was a dark presence here that made her feel anxious. Like she was constantly being watched. She didn't know if the others felt it, but she didn't want to mention it, as it wasn't really causing her any adverse effects.

After a few minutes, Kai came out of the jungle, returning from his reconnaissance mission. "This whole island is swarming with Garmadon's indestructible Stone Army," he said. Jay laughed. "Ha! Good thing we're ninja and we know how to hide," he said. Onyx nibbled on her lip. A marooned ship could only be hidden for so long. Cole punched his palm. "Who wants to hide when you can fight? I'm getting tired of having our heads buried in the sand. I wanna fight these guys," he said aggressively. "But Cole, they have no apparent weakness. It would be unwise to start a fight we cannot finish," Zane said. Lloyd nodded. "Zane's right. We can't rush headlong into battle with them," he agreed. Onyx pointed at him in agreement. Wu walked out on deck. "That is why we must find the Temple of Light," he said, beckoning them inside.

The ninja stood around a table, looking down at the scrolls that Misako had laid out. Onyx's eyes flicked over the illustrations that showed Lloyd surrounded by the others. Yet again, she saw her absence. "The scrolls say there is a hidden temple on the island. If you find it, it will give the ninja pure elemental powers, powers that can destroy the indestructible army," Misako explained. Cole gave an excited hop. "So you're saying we get to fight? Whoo-hoo! I've got happy feet!" He exclaimed.

Onyx bit her lip. "What about me?" She asked. Misako looked at her. "You are able to unlock your own power without aid. You carry it within your bloodline," she said. Onyx noticed the others glance at each other. Suspicion poked at her. 'Do they know?' Lloyd nodded. "That makes sense. I can't use darkness," he said. 'Of course... how did I not realize it sooner?' Misako nodded. "Exactly. And speaking of you, it is written: For once the Green Ninja finds the instrument of peace, he will strike it and know the power of the Ultimate Spinjitzu Master," she finished.

Onyx pulled herself out of her thoughts. "What does that mean?" She asked. "Yeah, I'm confused," Lloyd agreed. "It means you will be able to invoke the power of the Golden Dragon, an ancient fighting style only practiced by the First Spinjitzu Master," Misako explained. Onyx nodded to herself, ignoring the boys' surprised looks. It made sense. Lloyd was descended from his bloodline. Lloyd snickered. "Haha, jealous?" He teased. Kai rolled his eyes and looked at Wu. "This all sounds too good to be true. What's the catch?" He asked.

Wu sighed. "The catch is, the Temple could be anywhere on the island, and all we have is this," he said, holding up a golden circle with three holes in it. Onyx tilted her head at the item. It looked kind of like a locket of some sort. "A medallion. It's like a compass. When the three holes match up, the medallion will reveal where the temple is hidden," Dr. Julien explained off of their confused looks.

"Uh, how'd you know that?" Jay asked. Dr. Julien chuckled. "Oh, I did a lot of reading in my spare time. Adventure stories were my favorite," he answered. "Then what are we waiting for?" Zane asked, taking the medallion as the ninja stood up. Wu put up a hand. "Not you two," he said, pointing to Lloyd and Onyx. "Ah, seriously? Are we still doing this?" Lloyd groaned. "Wu is right. If you were to come across your father, it could prematurely start the Final Battle. We need to be at full strength before we take any risks," Misako said to him. Wu gave Onyx a stern look. She nodded and sat back down, understanding. She didn't want to risk meeting the Overlord just yet.

The others looked at each other and nodded. "I could use some help around the shop. We should get working on vehicles that might help give us a fighting chance," Dr. Julien offered the two of them. Onyx nodded and stood to follow him. "You coming?" She asked Lloyd. He sighed and nodded, following the two out of the room.
