"Hi there, what's a cute thing like yourself doing out here all alone?"
"Staying away from people like you."
"Damn, you don't even know me."
Brown eyes continued to ignore the female who had came up to them. The party scene was where everyone in LA was seen at, everyone loved it. Not brown eyes though, they'd rather be at home watching a movie.
"I know that you don't know how to read the room."
"I just came out here to watch the stars." There was a silence that fell between them, faint music playing in the background. "I'm Lauren." A pale hand was brought into the line of view of brown eyes.
"Camila." She reluctantly replied, she turned around and nearly lost her breath. "You look familiar."
"Well, not to brag, but I am kind of a big deal." Her smile was bright, and the color of her eyes sparkled under the moonlight.
"I would assume so, you are at an album release party."
"I could've just seen a beautiful girl hanging out in the balcony and decided to sneak in just to speak with her."
"You don't seem like the type."
"Wanna dance?" Lauren offered her hand.
"Thank you, but no thank you. There's a reason I'm out here away from the crowd."
"Just one dance, I'll leave you alone afterwards." She wiggled one hand and took hold of Camila's soft ones. "Come on, just one."
"But there's no music."
"I can sing."
And that she did. Lauren softly sang as she brought Camila closer to her body. Slow movements and soft smiles, thats how both girl's danced through two songs Lauren sang. Camila was lowkey enjoying the moment, she would duck her head every time she caught Lauren's eyes. She had never met someone with such intense green eyes like hers, they mesmerized her. When the song came to an end, Lauren gave Camila a spin and wrapped both her arms over her shoulders.
"Thank you for the dance ma'am." There was a soft kiss placed on Camila's cheek. "If you wish to join me for some more dancing, I'll be by the punch bowl. I left my friends saying I would be back thirty minutes ago."
"We'll see."
With a smirk in place, Lauren spun Camila back around and tucked a piece of her hair behind her ear before going back to the party.

The next time the two girls met was at another party. This time Camila was sat by the bar sipping on a boxed water. The only reason she was here was because her manager told her she needed to make more appearances at events she was personally invited to. She managed to avoid everything by simply staying glued to the bar, but clearly someone else had a different idea.
"Could you get your arm off me." Camila's voice came out annoyed, she didn't bother turning around to look at who decided it was okay to do that.
"Usually people say hello." At the sound of the familiar voice, Camila turned her head and was met with mischievous green eyes. "Hello beautiful, you're all alone once again I see."
"Some stranger puts their arm around me, doesn't really earn a warm greeting."
"I'm not some stranger, I'm Lauren Jauregui."
"Because I definitely know who that is." With a chuckle, Lauren ordered a drink from the bartender. "Don't you have friends you can go bother."
"I'd much rather keep you company."
