"Once she finds out, she's going to want to give you everything, or want to take the child away from you."

"I'll still tell her, but not now."

"Mami! Mami! Aunt China says shwe going to powlly bweat me!"

"Oh is she?"

"Hey, that little annoying child ate my cupcake! Normani only made one for each of us."

"Aw don't pout babe, I'll share mine with you."

"If thwat wain't wuv I don't know what is."

"Nova Lara Cabello, stop speaking like a baby. We've talked about this."

"Sorry mami."

The mother hugged her daughter and picked her up. Camila Cabello mother to Nova Cabello was having a small party for her daughter's friend's birthday, Brooklyn Hope Hernandez. She being the daughter of the famous Ally Brooke Hernandez.

Camila and Ally were best friends and had a lot in common, especially the fact that they were both single mothers. Ally's partner had wanted nothing to do with their baby. As for Camila, her partner (or more like one night stand) didn't even know they had a baby.

"Aunty Cami, when is my mommy going to come home?" Brooklyn asked, tugging on Camila's shirt.

"Soon sweety. She sent me a message saying she was on her way." The, now-turning-five year old, girl smiled and rushed off to the backyard. "Nova why don't you go join them?" She nodded happily and rushed off after the other toddler.

"Is Ally really showing up on time?" Normani asked in a doubtful tone.

"She said she didn't want to miss it. Ally wants to be here for her daughter but you know how busy she is."

"That's no excuse to miss her own daughter's birthday." Dinah nodded in agreement with Normani, her girlfriend.

"Give her some faith, maybe she will show up this time." Camila could only hope her short friend would show.

"Ally, we aren't going to make it on time in this traffic."

"I know Lauren, but what else can we do?"

"Is my baby in the back of this trailer?"

"Yes but why- Oh no Laur, I know that look."

"She's not showing Mila. Come on, let's go cut the cake."

Just as the three of them were headed back inside, the sound of a motorcycle approaching at top speed made them stop.

"Oh, my- ALLY!"

Camila ran up to the motorcycle where she instantly recognized her short friend sitting in the back. As Camila ran to her, Ally hopped off the bike, threw her helmet off and held onto Camila as she did her infamous koala hugs.

"MILA! I've missed you so much!"

Camila was so excited to see her best friend again, she didn't notice the looks on her other friend's faces as the one driving the motorcycle took off her helmet. It was the one person that Camila was nervous of, her usually carefree spirit instantly vanishing when said person's name was mentioned.
