Sometime during the late hours of the night, a brown eyed, brown haired girl was quietly walking down the tenth level hall of a hotel. She was tightly clutching her phone to her chest as she desperately tried to find someone walking around who would hopefully allow her to borrow their charger, if they had an iPhone charger that is.
She had just made her way back from Miami on a travel bus. The girl had no idea where the bus led her as she just gone on it, trying to quickly runaway from her horrible life there. Only problem was, her portable charger she had brought on the trip was out of juice and her phone was at five percent.
'I knew I shouldn't had let that guy borrow it.' She scolded herself, but how could she say no to him? She was just that type of person to not say no.
She honestly didn't know how she got in the hotel in the first place. It was high class considering the carpet and wall decoration. Not to mention there were a bunch of security guards outside the doors, how could they have not noticed a girl in an oversized hoodie, ripped jeans carrying a black bag? The girl thought she looked pretty suspicious.
As she kept walking, she noticed a hotel door open slightly and started walking towards it. She softly knocked but no one answered, the door slowly opening more. She peeked in and noticed a Mac book on the desk, she knew there was a high chance of an iPhone charger to be around.
'This can't turn out bad now can it?' She asked herself and slipped into the room, closing the door behind her.
Surely enough, the room was empty and there was a charger connected next to the large bed. With a small victory dance, she went over to the charger but tripped over something.
"Ouch." She whimpered and looked over to see what she tripped over. "Oh, good boy?" She said calmly as a small tan dog looked at her curiously.
The dog slowly got up, tail wagging, and walked over to the girl on the floor. She stayed still not wanting it to bark or bite her, but to her surprise the dog went up to her face and licked it.
"Okay, okay, okay. Good," She looked at his collar. "good Leo."
After putting her phone to charge, she started to play with the small dog. About ten minutes later the door started to unlock and in walked a tall girl with green eyes and jet black hair. She hadn't noticed the stranger playing around with her dog on the ground since she was busy blasting music through her earbuds.
Once the brown eyed girl on the floor noticed the woman enter the room she quickly got up, in the process startling her. She was carrying Leo in her arms as she tried to say something.
The green eyed girl looked at her with wide eyes and slowly took out her earbuds. The other girl noticed she was typing on her phone and held up a hand.
"Pl-pl-please do-do-don't call the-the po-po-police miss." She said timidly. "I-I-I-I ca-ca-can e-e-ex-ex-explain." Leo started to lick her face nonstop.
"What are you doing here?"
"I-I-I ju-just wa-wa-wa," The brown eyed girl kept stuttering nonstop and soon Leo started to whine while nuzzling his snout on her cheek and neck. He was probably sensing the panic attack the young girl was going to have.
Quickly, the green eyed girl went to her side and slowly led her to the bed where they sat down.
"Hey, hey, it's okay. Calm down, I'm not calling the five O." Green eyes said trying to sooth brown eyes. Green eyes grabbed her hand and rubbed small circles on the back of it with her thumb. "I'm not mad."
