"Posted is the cast for our fall play."

Everyone ran to the front of the class as soon as their teacher stepped away from the small sheet of paper. From the back of the classroom the sound of a chair being pushed back was heard and everyone grew quiet. A green eyed girl with black hair and a leather jacket made her way to the front, everyone stepped back to allow her passage. They knew better than to block her way.

Meanwhile a brown eyed girl with brown hair sat at her desk quietly. She would take a look at the cast after everyone dispersed. Sat next to her was a blonde haired girl with honey eyes, she wanted nothing more than to see what part she was playing.

"If I were Camila, I'd run."

"I wouldn't wanna be Camila."

"Ten bucks says she ends up in the hospital."

The brown eyed girl looked around and noticed everyone was talking about her. They were all trying to whisper, and when the green eyed girl finally read the list, everyone gathered by the teacher's desk. Even the teacher gulped as he watched the green eyed girl clench her jaw.

"What do you think happened Mila?"

"Hang on Dinah, I don't like where this is going."

"Mila, Lauren is turning around and walking this way."

Lauren set both her hands on Camila's desk, leaning in and coming face to face with the girl. Green eyes connected with brown ones, it made Camila gulp. She found the girl intimidatingly gorgeous, and this closeness just reminded her how insanely hot she found the girl.

"Congratulations."

Was all Lauren said before she walked out of the room and everyone could finally breathe. Camila though, her eyes had widened at what Lauren had said, even Dinah was confused. The students continued to look over the casting list and would occasionally throw concerned looks towards the brown eyed girl.

"Alright, I'm checking it out with or without you." Dinah finally said after most of the students had cleared out.

"I'll check it on our way out."

Dinah rolled her eyes at her friend and walked up to the paper. The first name on that cast list made her turn around and sprint towards Camila.

"Hoi, you got the lead! Oh my god this is so amazing!" She hugged Camila with a huge smile on her face. "Congratulations!"

That's when it clicked. Dinah grew stiff and slowly retracted her arms. Camila looked up at her with wide eyes.

"You are so fucked."

****

"How could you get the lead?" A dark skinned girl yelled.

"Mila didn't even audition too! She's part of the lighting crew." Dinah replied with a mouth full of cheetos.

"Have you told the teacher you don't wanna do it?"

"Of course I have Normani, but he won't let me drop out. He just said I'm the perfect person for it." Camila was sprawled out on the grass, her backpack served as a pillow. "Lauren Jauregui is going to plan my murder."

"I think it's a lovely plan. Quite frankly I'm tired of seeing her ass star in every play or musical. Doesn't matter how good she is."

"You're just saying that 'cause you're still mad at her."

"Of course I am! We could've gone all the way to the softball championships, but no she had to quit to focus on that stupid winter musical." The whole softball team was upset, but Normani was livid. "You did amazing in your role though Di, greatest detective ever."
