16. Just fuck it out

While Gaia's glaring at Munin, Klaus runs towards me. "Damn, you look pretty fucked up." I look at him with a deadpan expression. "No fucking shit." He chuckles a bit awkwardly and kneels down next to me, inspecting the wound.

While he's taking care of my wound, Gaia's looking ready to murder Munin. Meanwhile he raises the flamethrower, pointing it at Gaia. She remains calm and as he turns on the flamethrower, a rock wall rises out of the floor, the flames extinguishing against it.

My jaw drops, I see Munin staring at the wall in disbelief too. "Y-y-ou're an element wielder!?" Gaia replies smugly: "I'm 1222 years old, of course I learned element wielding. Now perish!"

She raises more rocks out of the ground, throwing them all towards Munin. He tries dodging them, the flamethrower breaking in the process, but there's way too many and he eventually gets knocked out.

Afterwards she turns on her heel and runs towards us. "Selina, what were you thinking going after him alone!?" She chastizes me. "Hey, I knocked him out once too..." I reply weakly and stand up with Klaus' help. "So, is it over?" They both nod in affirmation. "Well, let's return to the jet!" Klaus snorts and mummbles: "Somebody's whipped." I elbow him in the stomach, but stay silent, the only thing on my mind Soleil.

Soleil POV

I open my eyes slowly and see the face of a middle-aged man with dark brown hair and brown, oak shade eyes peering down at me. I shriek and punch him straight in the face, my fist landing on his nose.

"AGH!" He yells as he doubles over. "You ungrateful fool! I was taking care of you!" He whines while getting back up to his feet. "How am I supposed to know that!? But oh well, I apologize. Thank you for taking care of me." I nod my head in thanks and he seems to calm down a bit.

"The name is Sigfrid," he introduces himself and offers a hand. I shake it and reply: "Soleil." He chuckles a bit: "I know, I'm a friend of your girlfriends." I literally feel myself turn bright crimson: "She's not my girlfriend! We're best friends! We've been best friends since childhood..." I continue blabbing about how she's not my girlfriend. Sadly. Sigfrid just laughs.

"You'll get to see her in a bit and you can sort it out." I practically yell at him, my face still feeling hot: "There's nothing to sort out!! She...she's not into me..." Sigfrid looks at me with the biggest 'are you stupid' expression I've ever seen. "Selina loves you, stupid. And I'm pretty sure she told you."

Eh? I suddenly remember our interaction before I got taken once again. She...she loves me!? My face grows even hotter, I kind of feel like fainting. Sigfrid chuckles and says teasingly: "Told you."

Before I can reply I hear the hangar doors open, vampires bringing in the people they saved and the captured SIMP leaders. Selina must be here too! I wait for the incomers to sit down and keep searching for her, but she's nowhere to be seen.

"Eh? That's weird," I hear Sigfrid say, pointing to one of the vampires. "You! Where's Selina? And Gaia and Klaus of course?" He mutters after. "Selina probably went to search for Munin. Gaia and Klaus went to look for her. That's all I know." I grow worried hearing that.

Everyone was aboard already, except for those three. I'm pacing back and forth, growing more and more worried by the minute. What if she got hurt? What if they don't find her? What if Munin... I don't even want to finish the last thought and sigh, feeling like fainting once again. Of course for an immensely different reason than before.

I suddenly hear the hangar doors open and turn around instantly, my heart rate picking up. Selina! I almost tear up from joy, but freeze when I see a hole in her torso. "What happened?!" I run towards her and practically fall to my knees, looking at the wound. I barely notice two other vampires, I assume Gaia and Klaus, throwing an unconcious Munin to the floor.
