I took a deep breath and regretted it almost instantly when my ribs screamed in pain, the bruise had only gotten worse. If Sung Hanbin were to see this, I'm pretty sure he wouldn't let me enter the ice rink for a good two weeks. But for this situation, the amount of sighs I let out wouldn't be enough.

Seunghwan rolled the ball to me again and started teaching the new kid, Seungeon how to catch the properly even though the kid clearly told him that he knows what he was doing. Seungeon was a sweet kid, despite knowing the basics and having the knowledge to teach my best friend, he stood back and learned more from his senior, asking questions from time to time just to satisfy the grandpa.

I sat down on the damp grass, the morning dew seemed to go hard on the new kids as they slipped whenever they tried to run, earning a laugh from their carefree coach. The coach didn't mind me at all, in fact, he was glad that I was able to stand on the sidelines and help the kid. Little did he know, I was forced to attend because Taerae had promised Sung Hanbin not to let me go for practices.

"Taehee!" Seunghwan called again the moment I sat down, making grunt some colourful words into the air. He had the courtesy to cover the younger one's ears as I got up, protecting the little one's ears from my vocabulary. "Give me your best kick!"

"Don't go too hard!" I heard Park Hanbin shout before getting smacked in the head by Gyuvin's ball.

Seunghwan shook his head as he approached me yet he kept his distance from my small body. "Don't listen to him. Give Seungeon your best shot. Pour all that hatred you have in your body"

"I will have to kick you and Taerae in that case"

"Why don't we refrain from kicking me?" Seunghwan chuckled nervously, taking a large step away from me when I stepped forward for the ball. "Imagine Taerae as the ball"

"or Sung Hanbin"

"Or Sung Hanbin!" Seunghwan got behind me as he began muttering curses at my manager, "Look at his little pecan head, he thinks that he can control your life. But he can't! He ain't the boss of you, no goodie two shoes is allowed to tell you what to do! So Aim for his- NO!"

The newfound rush of adrenaline seeped through my veins as I focused all my strength on my right foot. The loud thud it emitted when it met my shoes, the ball flying up in the sky at such speed and strength I didn't know I had, made Seunghwan and I gap. Seungeon got ready, he was ready to jump but his quick calculations made him stop mid-way.

The ball smacked against the goalpost, flying back to god knows where like a fired bullet. The three of us could only stare at the ball knocking out a bed head's forehead to the ground, the sound of the whack was too loud to ignore, it made everyone wince in pain.

Except for Seungeon and Park Hanbin. They both fell to the ground with the loudest laugh.

Taerae was the first to run up to the guy laying down on the grass, although he was trying to stop his bubbling laugh, he failed when the boy said something, making Taerae point in our direction.

"Maybe I should leave," I turned to run away but Seunghwan held me by the back of my collar, choking me in the process.

"You ain't leaving me, sis"

"Bitch, what happened to partners in crime?"

"Yeah, this is the crime" Seunghwan sneered, "You're not going to leave me on the crime scene. We go down—"

"You down without me," I tried to pray his hand from my collar but it was like an iron clasp on me. "Someone needs to carry the plan"

"Then we go together—"
