Sunny: When Billy, Graham, and I were little we would always ride our bikes around the neighbourhood. The only issue was there were only two bikes and one scooter for the three of us to share.

One of the bikes was bright red and had little fire stickers spread all around it. At the time we thought the flames on the bike meant it was the fastest bike, so we all wanted that one. The second bike was just orange and had white detailing, and after years of use, it was getting pretty warn down. And finally, the scooter was this bright pink with purple details, so it was safe to say neither of the boys wanted to ride it.

Countless arguments and tears were shed when trying to decide who gets to ride what. But at the end of the day, Billy always got the red bike while Graham and I took turns switching from the scooter to the second bike.

Anytime Graham and I would try to ride Billy's red bike, he'd throw a fit. Even when Billy would be out with his friends from school and Graham and I thought it was safe to ride the red bike, Billy would always find out [smiles].

That was the first time I learned Billy didn't like to share. When we got older he obviously got over it and learned to share with Graham and I, then all of a sudden his hatred for sharing disappeared.

It wasn't until Teddy brought in Daisy Jones to work on Honeycomb that Billy's hatred for sharing got revived.

Billy: Honeycomb is a romantic song, but it's also kind of wistful. I'd written it about the life that I promised Camila. She wanted to move to North Carolina one day when we were old and settling down. She wanted to get a place close to the water. Have a big lot of land with the closest neighbour a mile away.

It was a pledge I'd made her. That I would give her that one day. A big farmhouse, lots of kids... Some peace and quiet after all the storms I'd put her through. That's what Honeycomb was about. It didn't make sense to have someone else come in on it.

But Teddy disagreed, he wasn't going to let up. Daisy Daisy Daisy. Even Sunny and Graham started in on me. Sunny vouched for this random girl to sing with me, she said "You and Daisy are a lot alike, if you both just put your minds together I'm sure you both will make something beautiful."

Sunny: I wasn't wrong... but I also wasn't right. We all were going to learn that as much good Daisy and Billy created, there was also an equal amount of bad.
