This takes place about two months after "Jekyll", three years before the final chapter :D
I wanted to write more for all five but I figured there was one person everyone would want to read about more
Seungmin sauntered into the interrogation room, grabbing onto the chair adjacent to the familiar blond hair to settle in front of him, "Hello, Mr. Lee—"
"Hi!" Felix bubbled to him, a slight wave of his hand lifting up to great the detective.
"We'll ask you a few questions, hopefully, if this goes well, this won't take longer than ten minutes. This isn't an arrest, this is the department taking your statement, please understand that we're not accusing you as guilty and we're only asking for your cooperation while we investigate your involvement with Naberius," The human lifted a faint smile back to the cheerful demeanor of his friend, siting opposite to him, in a chamber of lies and secrets he had come to damn so deeply during his career in law enforcement. Occupying himself with undoing the folders he had been carrying with him, not too thick, not too thin. The perfect size to denote the seriousness of the situation, but not the weight of listed crimes that he typically took with him into those rooms. Simply, files. Ideas. Questions that needed to be answered with an utmost importance to piece together the last remaining bits of the puzzle.
"Okay!" Felix easily agreed, head nodding an eagerness Seungmin found himself thankful for, for once. Typically suspects weren't so willing to surrender their answers and cooperate with investigations, this change of pace with Felix's acceptance was more pleasant than he had been expecting. In the next moment, while Seungmin was busy sorting through the files he brought with him, Felix reached underneath his sweater. From the inside of that fabric, he produced a bag he tugged open, "I have cookies. Do you want a cookie?"
...
Uh....
...
Seungmin started, "How did you bring cookies into the station—"
"Don't ask questions you don't need to know the answer of," Felix popped, nibbling into the cookie
"You were patted down, Mr. Lee."
"So?"
"So how did you bring cookies into the interrogation room?"
"Doesn't matter," Felix waved his question off, shoving the entire disk of the chocolate chip cookie into his mouth as he bubbled, "Ask away!"
Changbin leaned back, and folded his arms over his chest.
"For your information, my Dad will hear about this."
Sighing a response to his pompous attitude, Seungmin slammed the manila file closed atop the interrogation table. He bit back the budding frustration swelling in his chest, containing within himself the urge to climb over the metal barrier and punch his friend in the face as he begged, "Mr. Seo—"
"He's gonna be sooooooooooooo mad," Changbin quirked his lips into a cocky simper.
"Please—"
"Soooooooooooooooo mad you arrested his only son," Changbin interrupted him mid-sentence. Again. More of that rich brat deviant arrogance causing his head to tilt and his lips to jut out in protest, "My Dad is gonna come in, and he's gonna fire you, Sergeant. He's gonna depromote you to garbage boy. And he's gonna make sure you don't ever get put on a case again because you arrested Seo Changbin."
