Commando

While traveling to another job for Cid tensions were running high, not only did the group discover there was a high bounty not only on Widow but on Omega as well. Widow who was normally the calm collective one was worrying herself about all of this, she knew that it would be more than likely for her capture than Omegas, she would happily give her life for Omega any day. Honestly she would give her life for any of these men if that meant keeping them safe, Widow had done her best to train Omega lately given her most recent injury, thankfully the kid is a quick learner and has been able to almost master her blaster bow, which gave Widow a sense of calm knowing that Omega could protect herself now.

Her uneasiness hasn't gone unnoticed by Hunter, every now and then he will check on her to see if she needed anything but the answer he almost always got was "No thank you" or "I'm fine, really" which made him worry even more, he had gone to Echo to see if there was any more he could do but Echo only responded with "When she is like this, it's best to just leave her be and to let her come to you" Which yet again to Hunters displeasure made him more eager to help her, instead he took Echos words to heart, taking a seat nearby Omega who is currently working on Gonky. Climbing down from Omegas make shift bedroom Widow makes her way towards the cockpit of the Havocc she looks towards Tech and ask "How much longer till we are there Tech?" Tech slightly adjust his goggles and looks towards the coordinates "Approximately ten m-" he was suddenly cut off by a transmission incoming, both Tech, Widow and Echo look at the comm device to see who its coming in from "It's from Rex Echo announces.

Both Hunter and Omega appear next to Widows side, Omega quietly grabbing her mom like figures hand to hold, Widow didn't look down but couldn't help the small smile that appeared on her face as she held Omegas hand back. Her small smile didn't go unnoticed by Hunter who glanced her way shortly before the image of Rex appears "Hello, boys. Sorry to cut right to it, but I could use your help." Hunter speaks up before the others "What do you need, Captain?" with a soft sigh the Captain explains "I received a distress signal from a clone trooper, but I'm a bit tied up at the moment to retrieve him." Widow narrows her eyebrows trying to think who the clone in need could be, Hunter sighs "You want us to recover a reg?" Rex looks over to Widow "He's an old friend of ours, and he's in trouble. I need you to get him out." She looks intently at the holo image of Rex trying to figure out who in blazes it could be when she hears Hunters voice once more "Out of what exactly?" Rex looks over his shoulder and crouches down when there is a faint beeping being heard over the holo transmission, the Captain looks back towards to group "Can't talk right now. Sending you his signal. I'll be in touch." The feed ends suddenly leaving a tense silence.

Widow gently squeezes Omegas hand to remind not only her but herself that they are in this together. Suddenly a beep comes through signaling we received the intel from Rex, Tech looks at the data that was received "The distress signal sent by CC-5576 is originating from Daro, a terrestrial planet in the Outer Rim with no known settlements or installations." Widow closes her eyes and sighs softly while all eyes are on her eagerly wanting to know who the CC number belongs too "Kriffing Hell" She pauses "Gregor..." Hunter puts a hand on her shoulder in a comforting way "Looks like we are heading to Daro" He smiles softly at her as he places a soft kiss to her temple causing Widow to smile at his action "May I remind you that we are in the middle of a job for Cid. If we deviate, we will not be compensated. No money means no food." Tech reminds the groups, Omega steps forward as Wrecker eyes light up at the mention of food "Oh, yeah. Tech's got a point." Omega shakes her head "But both Rex and Widows friend is in trouble. That's more important than getting paid." She crosses her arms, the smile that appeared on Widows face was slight but it was there and directed towards Omega. Widow smirks as she kneels down next to Omega and places a hand on her shoulder "Kid has a point, looks like Daro Is our next stop boys!"

*In Orbit to Daro*

Widow sits in the back room on gazing at the star map that is lit up brightly in front of her, shes lost in thought letting her guard down completely knowing shes safe on the Havocc with everyone. Two hands rest on her shoulders gently massaging them to ease her stress, she hums in content as the new feeling, resting her head back she looks up to see Hunter who is also gazing at the star map, he clears his throat "If you could go anywhere away from all this where would you go?" She grabs Hunters hand and places a soft kiss to his palm and holds it tightly with her own hand. "That's a good question actually" she pauses "Somewhere that there is a beach with water surrounding the area" she smiles softly "Somewhere peaceful, I've been fighting almost all my life Hunter. I'm just about out of fight in me" Widow says softly knowing that only Hunter can hear her, he kneels down infront of her raising his hand to tuck a piece of her hair behind her ear "Once things have settled Lib then all of can hopefully settle down somewhere, all I've known is war" he chuckles softly as he glances down to the ground and then back to her brown doe eyes "It's what I was born to do, but you came into my life, changed my perspective." Hunter smiles softly "Hell you gave me something to look forward to after the war, then Omega came along and yes I didn't want her to stay but ultimately it was for the best for all of us." Widow smiles at his words, she leans down to kiss him which he happily kisses her back softly.
