Truth and Consequences

It has been a few days since the events of Caledonia have transpired Elara and Lena have been hard at work with Omega and teaching her meditation styles that both the former spies have learned over the years to keep their minds at ease, both the women study Omegas form, her abilities to stay focused with blocking out any distractions. Elara couldn't help but smile watching Omega try to practice the form she looks so at ease now with the Widow programing officially gone from her, Lena the youngest of the siblings just smiles watching her older sister "You look like a proud mother" Lena leans in whispering to Elara making her chuckle at the comment "In a way I am, when I first met Omega I was assigned to train her as a Widow." Elara explains looking towards her blond headed sister "I did just that, but in a more caring approach" she chuckles "Plus the help of all her brothers with her training have made her a much more skilled person than myself" Elara looks back to Omega "I just want what's best for her in the end"

Echo approaches the sisters with a faint smile on his face as he joins them on watching Omega "Meditating again?" he chimes in causing Omega to break her concentration followed with a sigh of frustration "Trying." she shrugs while looking towards Echo "Elara and Lena have both taught me, but I cant do it like them" the remark from Omega causes Elara and Lena to grin softly "Well, they have trained for a long time, Elara even practiced mediation with General Kenobi, sometimes even General Skywalker." Echo reminds her "Yeah Skywalker was a very rare occasion though" Elara playfully says while looking to Echo "Wanna give it shot?" Echo shakes his head no as he crosses his arms against his chest "No. I don't enjoy solitude. I had enough of that on Skako Minor." Echo explains with a sigh he continues "If it weren't for this squad, I'd still be a prisoner there or worse." playfully acknowledging Elara "Well almost everyone in this squad" that earned Echo a playful slap from his longtime friend "I miss one mission and you will never let it go"

Omega and Lena watch the friends playfully banter with one another with a soft expression on both of their faces "Is that what made you join them?" Omega chimes in disrupting the playful bantering, with a thoughtful expression Echo looks towards her "This was where I fit, where I was needed." Earning soft smiles from the three females they are interrupted by Tech "We have an incoming transmission. It's Rex." followed by the image of Rex appearing on the holo for everyone to see, the four of them approach the image displaying Rex, Lena stays close to her sister but listens intently "Hey, gus. Any chance I could use your squad's expertise for a mission?" he asks once he gets the signal steadied, "Finally. I'm tired of waiting around for Cid." Wrecker chimes in causing Elara to chuckle "So much for her being a reliable source" she quietly says to herself "What do you need Rex?" Echo ask as he stands next to Omega. "I'll explain everything when you get to Coruscant." Rex casually throws out there making everyone stiffen slightly "Coruscant?" Elara and Hunter say in unison with surprise laced in their voices "That's a big ask, Captain." Hunter speaks up.

"Why? What's on Coruscant?" Omega innocently asks, Tech looks over to her "It is the galactic capital and, thus, the heart of the Empire." Echo nods placing his fingers on his chin thoughtfully "But the Empire thinks we're dead. They won't be looking for us." Hunter interjects "I'd like to keep it that way."  Elara looks towards the others and sighs "Rex this is something I'm not sure we can risk, we've been able to stay out of grasp of the Empire for this long" Rex directs his attention to her "There's a lot going on here that you all don't know about Wid. Just hear what I have to say and if you all don't agree to it then I will respect that" Elara sighs and nods her head "It's a covert mission. A simple data extraction but a crucial one. I'll send over a flight plan to bypass Imperial security and coordinates to a safe landing zone." The Captain simply states of the brief mission details, Echo speaks up confidently "We're on our way"

Elara couldn't help but feel her nerves flare up on edge, she has a feeling that a more sinister ploy is at hand with going back to Coruscant, as she sits in the Navi room by herself she tries to gather her thoughts but is to distracted to focus. Groaning to herself the door opens revealing Hunter now joining her to her relief "This is almost becoming a tradition" she chuckles with the statement from him as he approaches her placing his hands on her shoulders gently massaging them in hopes to ease her, she knows he can pick up on when she gets anxious, frustrated or anything related to her emotions. "I just have this bad feeling I cant shake Hunter" Elara sighs relaxing into his touch "I've been keeping up with feeds regarding the troopers, the public is even more weary of them since the Republic fell. The Empire is willing to do anything in order to sway public opinion in their favor and I can't help but feel that a new fight is about to begin" she finishes as Hunter releases her shoulders, he reaches for her hands which she gladly accepts as he guides her to stand up as he pulls her into his arms. "Are you sure you aren't able to use the force?" Hunter teases her as he places a kiss onto her forehead softly "Because that's oddly a specific thing to be worried about" Elara chuckles as she leans her head up to look towards Hunter "Hunter I haven't had this feeling since Order 66"
