Chapter 18

We stayed for a while outside the tents before we took them down, or okay, the guys took them down while I watched. We then went to a diner that was a few hundred yards away and ordered breakfast.

After an hour in LA, we went back to the car, now we apparently would drive for about five hours, so we would arrive around five-six. We jumped in the car and put on music and had the windows down. We drove while playing singing games and laughed the whole time. When we had driven for about two hour I got tired and had my head leaning against Kian´s shoulder and he held my hand in my lap. I closed my eyes and listened to the guys’ conversation. They talked about everything but they seemed to be very excited over something. I really had no idea where we were going.

"Hey, is Jess asleep?" I heard Sam whisper. I did my best to keep from smiling.

"Yeah she does." Kian whispered. He pulled his hand along my arm.

"Do you think she has any idea of where we're going?" I heard Ricardo ask.

"Haha, no!" Sam said and laughed.

"Did you have it cozy last night or something?" I heard Jc ask, I could almost see how he grinned.

"Haha. Yes it was very cozy." Kian said and kissed me on the head.

"Well I heard you two were very cozy ..." I heard Sam say, and everyone laughed.

"Ey!" Kian exclaimed. I blushed and suddenly someone started tickling me and I opened my eyes.

"So you were awake?" Kian said and the others looked at me, except Ricky.

"Ehm ..." I said and smiled innocently.

"JESS!" Everyone exclaimed.

“How did you know?”

“I saw you blushing.” Kian said and grinned.

"And Sam, do you want me to buy ear plugs?" I said and smirked. The others laughed.

"Are you so loud Jess?" Connor asked and everyone started tanning. I blushed and Kian laughed out loud.

"Stop embarrassing my girlfriend ..." Kian began to say. I smiled gratefully at him. "It doesn´t matter if she´s loud." He continued. Then everyone started laughing even more, except me because I was staring at Kian.

"You know I love you sweetie." He said and grinned.

"But ey, then it was you I heard yesterday, it sounded like a horny bear, but there aren´t bears here, right? I thought I heard wrong, but maybe it was you Kian!" Jc said and everyone laughed, I held up my hand to give him a high five, he batted my hand rough and it hurt.

"Okay, seriously. We are talking about how Kian and I would sound during sex. Stop it.” I said and everybody laughed.

"Okay, we stop. You weren´t loud actually.” Sam said.

"We didn´t do anything. But I know that you are just jealous because you don´t have girlfriends. "Sa Kian and squeezed my hand.

"I'm actually dating someone." Connor said.

"Ricardo and I are dating." Ricky said and everyone laughed.

"Yeah, yeah, when we are there?" I asked.

"About an hour, I think." Ricky said who was driving. We stopped at a McDonalds to eat before we continued driving.

"SAN FRANCISCO HERE WE COME!" Ricky exclaimed.

"Are we going there!?" I asked.

"RICKY!" All the guys exclaimed at once. He realized that he had exposed the secret. Everyone started laughing.

"Haha, because Rickrad has revealed that, we can tell us what to do." Connor said and grinned.

"Tell me!"

"We will first play paintball and then we´re going to drive go kart! I know you always wanted to do it but didn´t dare, so here we go!” Sam said and smiled.

"Oh yeah! YAY I'M EXCITED!" I exclaimed and became enthusiastic.

"I told you she'd like it!" Kian said. They told me about the plan for the rest of the day, first we were going to play paintball for an hour and then we would go on to a go kart track and drive an hour there before we would go to a hotel we would sleep on overnight.

 We arrived half an hour later to San Francisco and we went a little bit outside the city. We got our green uniforms and a guy told us how it worked. We split up into teams, I, Jc, Ricardo and Sam against Connor, Kian and Ricky. We ran away from each other and I ran and hid behind a large bush. My heart was beating fast when I heard footsteps approaching me. The track was a forest in a particular area. I heard someone shoot a little further away so I hurried away from my hiding place. I heard several shots and then one of the guys screamed and swore loudly, he had probably been hit, and that one was out of the game. I hid behind a tree and saw Kian come slowly, but he didn´t see me. I aimed at him and fired away, he was hit by the blue color and he looked shocked at me.

"WHAT? I got shot by YOU?" He exclaimed.

"Yes, I can actually handle weapons." I said and grinned.

"Do you want to manage my gun or what?" He said and smirked broadly. I laughed; he would always get everything into something dirty. I then became serious.

"Sorry babe." I said and ran away from him. I ran ahead and then saw Sam a little further away and I sneaked to him. Apparently Kian, Ricardo, and Jc had been shot. So there was me and Sam against Ricky and Connor. We made up a plan to take Connor first. We sneaked behind trees and looked around us. After a few minutes I saw Connor and whispered to Sam. He grinned and we both aimed.

Suddenly I heard a shot and I had been hit in the leg. It stung and I felt a lot of pain, I screamed. I turned around and saw Ricky with the gun on his hands. Sam ran away before Ricky could take him.

"RICKY MINAJ IS THE BEST!" Ricky said and grinned. I gave him the finger with a smile. I went with weary steps towards the cottage where Kian, Jc and Ricardo waited.

"FOURTH PLACE!" I exclaimed, and they smiled.

"I thought you would go out first." Jc said and grinned.

"I shot Kian haha." I said and smiled proudly.

"Yeah, yeah." Kian said and looked a little half scowl, but he smiled.

"That was so much fun anywhere!" I said and sat down next to them.

After a while Connor came and then it was just Ricky and Sam left. It was another few minutes before we saw Ricky and Sam come over to us, Ricky had several spots on him while Sam was clean.

"SAMIE DID YOU WIN!?" I exclaimed. He nodded and I, Ricardo and Jc ran up to him and formed a group hug.

 We took off our uniforms and went in to San Francisco again to eat food. It was now half past seven and we were going to the go kart track. We got on our helmets and black uniforms. One who worked on the track gave us instructions how to drive and everyone was as excited as I was. There were a number of people on the track and it looked really fun. We would run three heats and three turns on every time. We sat in separate go karts and the first heat began. I gassed and drove away. I was a bit wary and the guys went away past me. But I started to run faster and faster and at the very last lap I actually came fifth. This was probably one of the best days of my life. Never had I had this much fun.

Tired, we went to the car and drove to the hotel. It was about eleven when we checked in and we went up to our floor. The hotel was small but very classy.

"Thank you so much for today guys. Best day in a long time! I love you!" I said and hugged them all. We said goodnight and I, Kian, Jc and Sam shared a room and the others one. We changed quickly and went to bed. I wore Kians t-shirt and it still smelled like him, which was wonderful. We lay and cuddled before we said goodnight and he kissed me, the fact that I still got week at the knees from hiss kisses got me floating on a cloud.
