The last week of the summer holidays had come and I had spent time with friends all week to take advantage of the last week of freedom, but I met Jc. I hadn´t talked to him since the party. And I didn´t know how it would be now that he would go soon. We wouldn´t see each other in a long time. But I didn´t want us to fight when he left.

It was Friday and I was going to meet Kian later in the afternoon. And tomorrow, we all were going to Ricardo´s house for a barbeque because it was the last time we all would be able to hang out for a long time. Jc and Ricardo was going back to their college in San Antonio on Sunday, they were just at home in the summer. Connor would take flight late tomorrow night to Minnesota to also start college again, as is Ricky, but he went to college in Alabama. And also Hannah was older, she would fly to New York where she studied. And the rest of us who were younger would start high school here again.

It was only twelve and I pulled on a big t-shirt and a pair of shorts before I went down to the kitchen.

"Good morning sweetie!" Mom said smilingly while she sat in the living room and played with Lily.

"Good morning!" I said and opened the refrigerator. There was nothing that appealed so I took out the milk and poured myself a bowl of cereal and poured some milk over it before I went out and sat in the garden. I walked over to the hammock and sat down gently so that I wouldn´t spill my breakfast. I put on some music and enjoyed the sun's heat. I sat there a long while, and after I had eaten, I lay down and wrapped the blanket around me and dozed off.

"Jess?" I heard someone say. I sat up fast lost my balance in the hammock so I fell down on the grass. The person standing there started laughing and I looked up. Mom reached out a hand and helped me up.

"What time is it?" I asked her and smiled.

"Five, wasn´t you going to meet Kian tonight?"

"Yeah, he´s picking me up in an hour, we're going out to eat. I need to get ready!” I said and ran into the kitchen with my bowl and then ran into the shower. I wrapped a towel around my body and smeared me with a body lotion that smelled like strawberry. Then I put on my makeup and straightened my hair. When it was just about six I put on a tight black skirt and a white blouse that Kian had bought me. Then I put on my low white converse and heard the doorbell.

"Hey Kian, you look nice!" I heard my mom say from the hallway. I heard them laugh and a few seconds later she shouted that Kian was hear. I smiled and put my phone in my black bag and hung it over my shoulder.

When I came down I was greeted by mom and Kian and both smiled broadly.

"I'll leave you two now, have fun! You look great honey!" My mom said and went off to the living room. When I reached Kian he smiled broadly.

"You look beautiful." He said and pulled me close. He put his hand on my cheek and caressed me with his thumb. I blushed slightly and looked him in the eyes. He bent down and kissed me softly.

"Shall we go?" He asked then and I nodded. He took my hand and we said goodbye to my family before we went out to his car. We then drove to a restaurant that was full of people. Kian had booked a table and we were shown to a table by the window.

"I am so hungry!" I said as I watched the menu.

"Me too, but I don´t know what I want." He said. A waitress approached us and asked if we were ready to order. She looked to be our age and she stared at Kian all the time.

"So, do you want something more? Dessert maybe?" She asked after we had ordered food. She giggled and played with her hair.

"I don´t know yet, we will let you know after we have eaten." Kian said and had his eyes on me. He probably noticed that she was trying to flirt and was annoyed because she ignored me.

"Just say the word." She said, not understand the hint.

"Please ask my girlfriend if she wants something else too." He said and she reluctantly gave me a sour look and asked if I wanted anything. I said no and she then went away.

"Am I that handsome tonight or what?" Kian asked and laughed.

"Yes you are quite handsome tonight." I said and grinned.

"Just quite handsome?"

"You are the most handsome guy I ever met!" I said and he smirked pleased.

Three hours later we were at his place, full and satisfied. Kian went and got a blanket, which we then took out to the garden. We lay down on it and enjoying the summer air. Kian smiled and looked so irresistible and I pulled him towards me and kissed him all over his face, I just couldn´t get enough of him. He started laughing.

"What are you laughing at?" I asked confused.

"You're just so excited. But I'm not complaining. By the way did I tell you how amazing you look tonight?" He lay down on top of me and placed his hands on my hips. Then he started kissing my collarbone and then my lips. I had never understood what it was like to really be in love, to love someone so much that it hurt. Because I did, I really loved Kian. He meant everything to me and I couldn´t really understand that he really loved me back. We lay down on our backs, staring up at the sky. He closed his eyes and looked so incredibly beautiful. I drew a fingertip along his arm and he got goose bumps. He opened his eyes and smiled.

"How could I have found such a wonderful girlfriend? What have I done to deserve you? "He said and put his hand on my cheek.

"Kian ..." I said and blushed.

"I'm serious Jess. You are really the best thing that happened to me. I love everything about you, well okay you might not look great in the morning but that´s okay!" He said and I opened my mouth and he started laughing.

"I´m kidding!” He said and hugged me. He then put on a song and stood up and began to sing along. I giggled.

And I can't explain

But it's something about the way you look tonight

Takes my breath away

It's that feeling I get about you, deep inside

And I can't describe

But it's something about the way you look tonight

Takes my breath away

The way you look tonight

I smiled and stood up and threw myself in his arms.

"Kian I love you!" I exclaimed, and kissed him. He put his hands on my hips and ended the kiss and looked into my eyes.

"I love you, Jessica." He kissed me again and I got weak at the knees.

It was only ten pm and none of us were tired so we went to his garage and took two bikes, I borrowed his mom's bike and he took his own.

"Kian! Don´t laugh now, but I can´t ride a bike in this skirt." I said and we both started laughing.

"Haha, but you can borrow a pair of shorts from my sister that she left behind!" He said. We quickly went up to his sister's old bedroom and he was looking in the closet f and he gave me a pair of blue shorts and I switched on quickly.

We sat on the bikes and went away without knowing where we were going. We laughed and sang very loud while we rode. We competed to see who could ride the fastest up late last hill back to his street. I went really fast and I reached his house first.

"WOHO I WON!" I said when Kian arrived at the house a few seconds behind me.

"Yes, yes ..." he muttered and I just smirked.

"Now you have to carry me up." I said. He started to laugh but stopped when he saw that I was serious.

"Yes, because I won so I decide it. Chop, chop!" I said and snapped my fingers. I knew he hated it so it was even funnier, we returned the bikes quickly and then he lifted me up in his arms and began to go inside.

We finally came up to his bedroom and we lay down in bed after we took off our clothes and got ready for the night. He lay down behind me and kissed me on the neck before we fell asleep.
