Chapter 14

It was Wednesday and I was on my way to Jc. He and I would cook and just hang out. Like every other day, it was very hot outside and the sun shone. I wore a high white skirt with black dots and a simple tank top.

When I arrived at his house, I put the bike outside the garage and walked towards the door. I rang the doorbell and heard Wishbone, his dog barking inside the door. I heard Jc tell him not to bark and I smiled. Just then he opened the door.

"Hey Jess!" He greeted cheerfully and gave me a hug.

"Hi!" I said and we went into the house.

"Are you hungry now?" He asked. I looked at the clock, it was only two and I had gone up for only two hours ago.

"No, I ate breakfast not long ago, hehe. Are you? "

"I'm always hungry. Haha. No, but I'm not so hungry, let's go to the backyard. It is so hot outside!" I nodded in agreement.

"So, what´s up?" I asked.

"It´s good. How are you? "

"Life rolls on." We both laughed.

"It seems to go well for you and Kian anyway." He said and grinned. I smiled broadly.

"Yes, you could say that it does. We meet almost every day, texting, talking on iChat, sleeping over so yes you can it´s good."

"Both of you seem to feel really good now when you´re together. I see that you are always so happy. Kian loves to talk about you, even though he may not want to admit it. He lit up. The same way as you do now. "

"You know us so well Jc. But I guess it´s true. For my part anyway.”

"Yeah I do. Kian and I have talked about it, he is really happy with you." Jc said and I got so happy by his words.

"How's your part with the love then?" He shrugged.

"I'm looking. It feels like everyone are boyfriends and girlfriends now, except me."

"It's not true. Not Ricky, Ricardo, Cassandra or Sam has it. "

"No, I know, but it feels as if there is only I left."

"Believe me, Jc, you'll get a girlfriend soon." He laughed.

"That´s not so obvious?"

"But look at you, you look good, is one of them nicest and funniest people I know." I said and smiled.

"Sucks for Kian then." He said and looked sly.

"Huh?" I understood nothing.

"Yeah, cause after you said that it feels as if we'd be perfect together." He grinned as I realized he was joking. I laughed.

"No, you're one of my best friends, you're more like a sister to me. I know you better than Cassandra and Hannah. But admit it, we would look great together? "He said and grinned.

"Haha, the best looking! No but seriously Jc, don´t mope cause you don´t have a girlfriend. You will find a girl and she will be so happy that she got you. "I said and smiled.

"Thanks Jess."

"I mean it. When was the last time I had a boyfriend? At primary school, and how serious was that?"

I said and grinned.

"But now you have Kian. It is now in this age you want girl, to cuddle and so. "He said.

"True. But ey, you can cuddle with Ricardo." I said and he laughed.

"I guess I just envy you and Kian. You seem to have so much fun together and you are always so cozy." He said.
