Shen Wei is tired and finding it increasingly difficult to stay awake while the coils are in contact with his skin, draining his strength in a slow continuous stream. If he closes his eyes he might not open them again, he won't be able to live with Yunlan and have the life he's dreamt about, he wants to see Chu try to take a dead mouse from the cat he wants to hear the team laugh and he wants to tell them who he is without fear and most of all he wants this mad man to get his history facts right and stop talking rubbish and where is this place anyway. Concentrating he speaks to Yunlan, not knowing but hoping that he can hear him.
"Yunlan hear me, you said that you would always know where I am and that you were strongenough to protect me, well prove it to me. I am not doing so well now, don't know how much longer I can stay awake and I'm afraid to close my eyes. This mad man keeps talking about history, so this place is linked to the end of the war, it looks battle damaged, old building, out near a forest. He talked about the Second Dimension, so it could be near a gate way or door. Looks as if there were white tiled walls somewhere here, so I'm thinking clean room or laboratory, I'm tied to some sort of frame against a wall, the red coils are around my neck, my hands and my ankles, not that I have the strength to run away, I will speak to you when I can but I'm very tired and severely restricted, the guards have been given orders to obey you as they would me. I was .......... he's back"
Lin Jing is studying CCTV footage that Cong Bo has managed to obtain from the security cameras at the university and they are both searching for the car involved with Shen Wei's kidnapping hoping to trace its movements through the traffic cams, slow work but it could be done. Lin Jing pauses for a moment and then excuses himself,
"Sorry have to leave you with that for about ten minutes maybe, have to speak to Yunlan about something," and heads towards Yunlan's office, tapping the door lightly, he steps in.
"Sorry to disturb you but I have something really important to tell you about Kunlun." All eyeswere on him instantly at the mention of that name.
"Speak" was all Yunlan said. Lin Jing was nervous enough without being commanded to speak, so he tried to explain as quickly and as easily as possible, unsure of the reaction it would have. "I am telepathic and Kunlun thought that it would be better if you were able to speak to him without having to pass out every time, he can talk through me and pass messages along quicker, maybe."
Yunlan looked at Chu who confirmed that he was telepathic and then he stared through Lin Jing, seeing no deception in what he was saying, he asked him,
"Alright I agree. Can you see the car just now or where it is?" Yunlan waited for an answer.
"Yes I know where it is but I don't recognise the area, I've never been there, I can describe it to you." Kunlun answered.
"Not such a great answer, but can you describe it to Lin Jing and look at maps, then when you know, come back and tell me."
