The Task

Carson Teva's residence, Hosnian Prime,

Din was landing at Carson Teva's landing pad near his home next to his speeder. Grogu then emerged in his pod and followed Din into the house. Teva then greeted Din and shook his hand.

"It's great to see you Mando," Teva said. "It seems that the New Republic senate is refusing to support my efforts to deter the Imperial Remnant. I'm fact they had me removed from military service because of my investigations due to fears of retaliation or they are just corrupt Centrists who have an imperial skewed view of life."

"So there is a base on Eriadu?" Din asked. "I thought Eriadu was completely liberated from the Empire."

"I thought so too," Teva said. "Until we found out that the cloning operation conducted by Moff Gideon expanded to Eriadu. But now that he is gone, all that is left are warlords that have escaped tribunals or to the Amnesty Program."

"Though I cannot do it alone," Din said. "I can enlist the assistance of Marshall Cara Dune along with High Magistrate Greef Karga, IG-11, and Bo Katan Kryze."

"Very well," Teva said. "As long as you take down that remnant, I am happy to accept anyone who is willing to assist."

Din then nodded and departed from Teva's house and set course for Mandalore and Nevarro to meet with his allies.

Din arrived at Marshall Dune's office and Dune herself happily greeted Din.

"Din," Cara said. "What brings you here to Hosnian Prime?"

"I have a mission from Carson Teva," Din said. "He tasked me to locate and destroy an Imperial base in Eriadu but I cannot do it alone."

"Eriadu?" Cara asked. "I thoght it was completely liberated from the Empire."

"As did I," Din replied. "However the cloning operations that begun under Moff Gideon are resuming. I fear that this could only be dangerous for not only Grogu but also for Mandalore."

"You know that I have responsibilities as Marshall of the New Republic," Cara said. "However I am happy to assist you and Grogu with your task and to keep the both of you safe."

"Thank you," Din said. "This is the way."

Cara then nodded and followed Din to her ship which his parked next to his silver N1 fighter. Grogu then entered the ship and sat on Din's lap.

"So where are we heading to now," Cara asked.

"We have to visit Bo Katan on Mandalore and then return to Nevarro to discuss the mission," Din said. "After the briefing we will then prepare to attack the base and put an end to the cloning operation."

"Very well," Cara said. "I'll meet you on Nevarro."

Sundari, Mandalore,

Din flew his N1 towards the capital of Sundari which he noticed has started to undergo some repairs following the Great Purge. Din then landed on the pad and Grogu followed him to Bo Katan's throne room. The pair were then greeted by Axe Woves, Koska Reeves, and the Armorer as they approached the throne room.

"Welcome Din Djarin," The Armorer said. "What brings you back to Mandalore?"

"I'm looking for Bo Katan," Din replied. "I have to talk to her about the return of an Imperial remnant that is continuing Moff Gideon's cloning operation in Eriadu."

"Very well," The Armorer said. "You may proceed."

Din and Grogu then entered the throne room and was greeted by Bo. Grogu then force jumped into her arms and she then placed him on her lap.

"Hello Din," Bo said. "I heard that there is an Imperial remnant that is continuing Moff Gideon's cloning experiments."

"Yes," Din said. "That is why I came to you. I fear it could not only be dangerous to Grogu but also the rest of Mandalore."

"I agree," Bo said. "We must put an end to these Imperials once and for all. I will join you and send some warriors to reinforce you."

"This is the way," Din said.

"This is the way," Bo replied.

"Meet us at Nevarro," Din said. "We will begin the briefing from there."

Bo then nodded and Grogu then hopped back in his pod and followed Din towards the N1 to depart for Nevarro.
