Storming The Knight

Eriadu,

Bo and her strike team began to engage the Imperial fleet blockading Eriadu. As the imperials scrambled fighters, she gave the order to have two Gauntlet ships land and storm The Knight  to free Din.

"Luke," Bo said. "Have your strike team prepared. Axe, Reeves, and I will hold off any imperial forces while you fight the Sovereign Protectors."

"I will," Luke said with a nod. "Just be careful."

Bo then nodded and proceeded to engage the Stormtroopers in the hangar. Luke and R2 then followed her and Luke ignited his green bladed lightsaber. The stormtroopers then began to fire at the Mandalorians but the imperials forces were easily being killed by Luke or the Mandalorians and proved to be no match for their superior firepower and training.

One of the stormtroopers then contacted Visken and the latter then gave the order to send the Sovereign Protectors to engage them and prevent them from reaching Din's cell. As they pressed onward, Luke quickly eliminated any stormtroopers that attempted to engage them and they then arrived at Din's cell. R2 then opened the cell door and Bo returned Din's confiscated weapons to him and removed the binders.

"You shouldn't have come here," Din said. "It's dangerous over here. Matarrin also brought Grogu to the base in the surface. We have to save him as soon as we can."

"We are," Bo replied. "However, we have to eliminate the Sovereign Protectors before we can move forward."

"They are too strong for us," Din said as he walked out of the cell with Bo. "They killed at least five Mandalorians during the first assault."

"Not for Luke," Bo said. "He will defeat them while we rescue you."

"He needs help," Din said. "We can't let him be killed by them. We have seen what they can do along with the Purge Troopers."

"Very well," Bo said with a nod. "Let's get going."

Luke began to arrive at the bridge to confront Visken, but was stopped by Kir Kanos and Carnor  Jax. Luke then ignited his lightsaber and engaged the guards. The Protectors fought valiantly and launched several aggressive strikes but Luke then blocked their attacks and launched a series of counterattacks but they blocked and Jax then spun his weapon and slashed Luke scraping his arm.

Luke then jumped over them and killed Kanos by stabbing him in the back and then destroyed Jax's weapon and impaled him with it killing him as well. As he tried to push forward to the bridge, his comlink started to beep.

"Bo," Luke said. "Is everything okay? Did you find Din?"

"We did?" Bo replied. "But be careful, for you have Purge Troopers advancing in your location."

"Thank you," Luke said. "I'll join you at the hangar."

As he met with the others in the hangar, several Purge Troopers engaged them and Luke took out one of them while he forced pushed another armed with an electrostaff. The team then escaped and jetted out of the hangar and flew towards the base.

"Glad to see that you are alive," Bo said. "Now let's get Grogu out and end this here and now."

Imperial Base,

Taloh picked up a vial carrying Grogu's blood and tested it on one of the strandcasts. The body started to move and opened its eyes. It then moved its hand towards Taloh and the latter was amazed that the project was successful.

"Finally," Taloh said. "The Sith will return and the galaxy will remember who is truly in control."

Suddenly the klaxons started to blare and a stormtrooper approached Taloh to warn him about the Mandalorian siege.

"My lord," the stormtrooper said. "The Mandalorians are landing and are beginning their siege."

"They are after the child," Taloh said. "Make sure that they do not reach him and activate the Dark Troopers to counter them. They will regret returning here and believing that they have a chance to defeat me."
