All the classes we were in were really boring, but I was entertained enough by just looking at Matt...
Shit, I wonder if he saw me staring..
*skip to the end of the school day*
"So how was your first day?" Matt asked while we were both getting our things from our lockers.
"Good. Most of the teachers seem nice." I replied
"So where do you live?"
"Ummm.." I trailed off.
"Oh my god, I'm so sorry that sounds really creepy!" He said, his face going red.
"It's just, I was wondering, if we were walking the same way, we could...walk together...maybe" he said sounding so nervous.
I chuckled at his embarrassment "I live in Princeton blvd"

"Woah me too!" Matt said and immediately started smiling.
"Cool, so should we go then?" I asked, gesturing towards the exit.
"Haha, yeah of coarse" Matt said and we began walking out of the school. I completely forgot about Ella, but I can text her later.

"So what kind of things do you do around here?" I asked looking around.
"Normally just chill, nobody else from the school lives near here, well, until now." He said with a grin.
I chuckled and felt blood rush to my cheeks.
Before I knew it we were standing outside Matt's house.
"So, you wanna come in for a bit, maybe, not, I don't know..." He said scratching the back of his neck.
Why was he so nervous?
"Yeah sure, I have nothing else to do" I said, immediately regretting it, knowing I sounded so awkward.
"Cool"
I walked into his house and I recognised it from his vines. It was big, but not too big. It was bright and looked like it had been lived in - well obviously it had, but not all houses look like it.
"Do you want something to eat?" Matt asked throwing his bag down by the door. He had seemed to calm down a bit.
"No thanks I'm okay" I said smiling.
"Do you wanna watch something?"
"Yassssssss!" I shouted......pretty loudly.....shit.
Matt laughed so hard that he fell up the stairs.
When he had controlled himself, he said something that made my heart leap -
"I like you" he shook his head lightly, laughing under his breath before continuing up the stairs to his room.
