We were back to school by Wednesday and I was surprisingly relieved to be back to the normal routine.

I walked to History class humming the tune of Worth It. Fifth Harmony are one of my favorite artists, after Ariana Grande, of coarse.

I saw on my timeline a while back that she was coming to Virginia next month and I'm saving to get tickets. After all, I couldn't pass up seeing my queen.

I took a seat next to Ella and she smiled sheepishly at me, nudging my side repeatedly. She obviously had something to gossip about, and I was intrigued.

"Dude, spill! My side is starting to hurt!" She laughed and finally stopped nudging me.
"Brace yourself, child..."
I rolled my eyes and motioned for her to continue.
"Hayes asked me to be his girlfriend!!" Ella squealed causing the teacher to glare at us.

I smiled at Ella while taking down notes. They're so cute together, my otp.

(Quick A/N: Speaking of otp's, how do you guys feel about Shawn and Camilla? I ship them sooo much sorry just had to get that out, continuing with the story)

"And he invited me for a sleepover next week." She wiggled her eyebrows dragging out the word 'sleepover'.

I looked at her pulling a disappointed face - a fake one, obviously.

"Whaaaaaat? It's not like you haven't done it with Matt, and you guys aren't even dating!"

As soon as the words left her mouth, a boy in front of us turned around. I think his name was Jack.

"Ohhh, what happened between you and Espinosa?" He smirked at me, making me uncomfortable.

"Not that it's any of your business, but we're like best friends so we've obviously had sleepovers. However, Ella here is making it out to be something it really isn't." I explain, proud of myself for not stammering and making it sound like it was a lie. Of coarse, it was true but to me it sorta meant a bit more. Like honestly, how many of you can say you've had a sleepover with your idol? Kissed them even..?

I zoned out thinking of Matt's lips while Ella told Jack basically everything that happened between Matt and I.

Before I knew it the bell rang and it was time for my favourite class of the day, lunch. I rushed out of the class pulling Ella with me to our table we always sit at. Matt said he would meet us here so I wanted to get there asap.

Jack walked beside me sitting down in the spot to my right, where Matt normally sits. I shoved the thought to the back of my head, trying not to let my mini-ocd get to me.

"So, Holly. Ella says you and Matt are becoming a thing, aye?" Jack says taking a sip of his Pepsi.
"Haha, no no no, we're just friends" I feel something twist in my stomach as I said those words.

"So I guess you wouldn't mind giving me your number then?" My eyes grow wide as I look at the cute blonde asking for my number. I nod and take out a small piece of paper.
Jack laughs at me. "Here caveman, just put it in my phone. There's no need for it to be on paper"

I chucked as I typed my digits into his phone, setting my contact name as Mrs.Flintstone and laughing to myself.

A few moments later, Matt arrived at the table, frowning at the cute boy sitting in his spot. I noticed straight away and involuntary smiled.

Was he seriously jealous..?

That's adorable omg.

"Cool so, text me later?" Jack nodded smiling, and standing up.

"See you around babe" he kissed my cheek and walked off to the other 'jocks', I suppose.

I felt sorta guilty since it was pretty clear I had feelings for Matt. He clenched his jaw before standing up from beside Ella, only to sit back down next to me.

There was an awkward tension between us, as Ella gushed to Emilie about Hayes. Hayes was away with Nash and their family for the week, visiting relatives or something.

Matt pierced his caprisun with the straw, channeling his anger into that one action and squirting a load onto the table. (THaTs WhAt sHe SaID)

I rested my hand on his, know it always calmed him down. Yeah, he's cute when he's jealous, but I hate seeing him stressed.

"Matt what's up?" I whispered softly. I knew exactly why he was pissed but I couldn't bring myself to admit it, I suppose.

He shrugged my hand off and went back to eating his lunch

-

I walked home by myself because Matt had football practise, but he was still pissed at me by the end of the day.

I arrived home to my parents who must have gotten back while I was in school. I ran up to my mum and wrapped my arms around her tightly. My dad was standing behind her smiling at us before joining in and making an uncomfortable, awkward group hug.

"I missed you cracker!" My mum chirped.

"How was your guys' trip?" I was glad to see them, but also dying to text Jack.

"Oh my god, honey tell her what Harold did on Saturday" my mum laughed tugging at my dads arm.

I quickly excused myself before getting into any story-time, and jogged up the stairs pulling out my phone.

I jammed out to The Weeknd for a bit waiting for Jack to text me. After changing into sweats and putting my hair in a messy ponytail, I finally got a FaceTime call from an unknown number.

I answer and Jack was walking through what looked like a park. The park next to my house, I think.

"Hey Holly," Jack smiled "So I did some investigating, and found out you enjoy this park. Am I right, or am I right?"

I raised a brow and chuckled as I looked around for a pair of shoes.

"Is that so?" I jogged down the stairs, telling my parents where I was going and walking out the front door.

"Yup, so get your cute lil butt over here as soon as you can, I'll be under the big tree."

Jack smiled before ending the call and I made my way through the gates.

The sky was cloudy and dull as I walked to the blonde under the tree. It was uncomfortably silent in the park, the only audible sound coming from the crunching leaves under my feet.

I approached Jack and said a quiet hello. He looked up at me and smiled, taking out his earphones.

"Hey babe" he stood up and leaned in to kiss me. I swerved my head to the side and his lips ended up on my cheek. I laughed awkwardly and we started strolling through the colourful leaves.

We talked about school and how I was 'liking the new surroundings' - basic crap they ask the new kid. Most of what Jack was saying was flirtatious. He kept calling me babe which I felt was weird but oh well, you only live once, right?

We talked for a while longer about nothing in particular until I got a text from my mom saying dinner was ready.

"I'm sorry, Jack, but I have to go. My dinner is ready. See you tomorrow?"

He says goodbye and I make my way to the gate of the park, turning to see him watching me still. He's sweet, I'm not gonna lie, but he's not Matt.

Shitty ending I'm crying lol [but I'm meeting Matthew this day next month jvksocjkdmsoxk]

By the way I wrote the comment in square brackets ages ago and the tour got cancelled so I actually didn't meet him lmao I hate life k bye
