Coma

As soon as they arrived at the edge, Hiccup in Astrid's arms was being sent to Gothi who happened to be in Hiccup's hut.

After Astrid but Hiccup onto the bed, Gothi told her to leave the hut.

Astrid sat outside the hut, looking worried and scared, scared to lose the love of her life.

Soon enough, the gang had returned back to the edge.

Everyone sat outside the hut to accompany Astrid. However it was no longer early and the sun had set. Soon, one by one, everyone started heading back to their huts all except Heather. Astrid was her best friend, she was not going to leave her when she is in need of support.

"Astrid, I think you know that is getting dark and we can't stay here forever."

Just then, Gothi came out of the hut with news. 

Astrid and Heather immediately ran to Gothi.

With her stick, Gothi wrote on the ground.

"Don't worry, he is not dying nor dead. However, due to the stab as well as the sickness, he will be in a coma. He will be in a coma for maybe a few hours at the least."

"Thank you Gothi" Astrid said thankfuly.

Gothi got on her dragon and went back to berk.

Astrid rushed into Hiccup's hut and Heather followed.

Hiccup was covered in bandages from his face to his chest.

Heather tapped Astrid on her shoulder.

"Astrid look, Hiccup is alright. I know your worried about him but you need to get some rest yourself. I need to head back to beserker island to get some rest myself, I'll see you tomorrow."

Upon saying this, Heather left the hut and left the edge.

Although Astrid did not want to leave his side, she knew Heather was right. 

Before Astrid left Hiccup, she kissed him on his forehead.

As time went by, seconds turned to minutes that turned to hours and those hours turned to days.

However, Astrid always stayed by Hiccup's side.
