Rest Day

Not long later, they had finished their meals and were off to do their own business.

Hiccup and Astrid were in Hiccup's hut.

As Hiccup was still healing, he had to stay in bed but now knowing that her boyfriend was conscious, she wanted to spend every second with him.

Now it was already night, the sun was no longer up. However, Astrid still stayed by Hiccup's side, despite how tired she felt.

After a few days of sleep deprivation, her eyelids kept on feeling heavy. This was very noticeable to Hiccup.

"A-astrid."

"Hiccup! Your awake! What's wrong?"

"You. Babe you and I know the sun is already down, isn't it a good time to head back to bed?"

"B-but"

"Astrid, you and I know that you are tired. You need rest."

"No! Not again! I am not leaving your side again! Don't you remember the last time I listened to you? You got kidnapped and stabbed!"

Hiccup sighed but he knew she was right.

"Besides... it's too cold in my hut.. "

Just then Hiccup thought of an idea that Astrid might agree to.

"How about you cuddle with me? You can keep yourself warm and stay beside me, its a win-win. That is if you want to cuddle?"

"Hiccup, that's a great idea!"

With that, Astrid climbed into Hiccup's bed. Hiccup covered Astrid with his blanket to keep her warm.

"Babe.."

"Yes M'lady?"

"I'm sorry for being so clingy."

"Babe, you and I know that you are just worried about me. If I were you, I would do the same."

Astrid went closer towards Hiccup.

"One more thing, are you a devil?"

"Wha- why would you think that?"

"It's freezing cold but your body temperature is still so warm."

Hiccup let out a giggle.

"I love you Astrid Hofferson."

"I know, I love you too Hiccup Haddock."

Hiccup kissed Astrid on the forehead. The two then closed their eyes and fell asleep.

<Meanwhile>

Fishlegs was in his hut, making dragon cards. Just then, Heather ran in.

"Heather! What's wrong!"

"Fishlegs, Astrid's missing! She's not in her hut!"

"Maybe she's out to fly Stormfly?"

"That's impossible! She never flies this late!"

"Heather, you don't think she's captured by dragon Hunters!"

"Viggo might use her against Hiccup to get whatever he want! After all Astrid is Hiccups' weakness."

Fishlegs and Heather immediately went to find Snotlout.

"Snotlout!"

"What do you want Fishface?"

"Astrid's Missing! I can't find her anywhere!" Heather shouted.

"Have you checked with Hiccup?"

"Hiccup?" Heather asked.

"Are you serious! Have you guys forgotten how clingy Astrid was when Hiccup was unconscious!"

Fishlegs and Heather immediately went over to Hiccup's hut.

"Of course, they will ruin my beauty sleep. I thought they were the brains around here."

Heather immediately ran into Hiccup's hut.

"Hiccup!" Heather shouted.

Hiccup slowly opened his eyes.

"H-heather? What's wrong?"

"Heather any luck?" Fishlegs shouted.

"Guys, Astrid's sleeping." Hiccup wisphered as he pointed to Astrid.

Heather and Fishlegs immediately left the hut.

"W-what?" Astrid said as she woke up slowly.

"Sleep, we'll ask Heather and Fishlegs tomorrow."

Astrid went closer to Hiccup and kissed him on the lips. The two kissed each other passionately. 

They closed their eyes and slept.
