He's awake!

Days passed quickly. The longer Hiccup stayed in a coma, the more worried Astrid got.  Everyday, Astrid would stay by his side for hours, waiting for him to awaken.

Sometimes, Astrid stayed by Hiccup's side so long that she would lose track of time and not go for her daily meals.

This kept on happening and one day, Heather got sick of it.

As usual, Astrid was by Hiccup's side and Heather came into the hut.

"Astrid, please you got to eat something! I understand you want to stay with him but you still have to eat! Please Astrid, please."

"No! I'm not going to leave his side, not again. I don't want to lose him." Tears started rolling down her cheeks to the thought of losing Hiccup.

Heather sighed.

Just then, Heather realised some movement from Hiccup. Soon, Hiccup sat up from his bed.

"I'll talk to her." Hiccup told Heather.

Upon hearing this, with a sigh of relief, Heather left the hut.

Upon hearing Hiccup's voice, Astrid was stunned and started crying.

"Hiccup!"

"Hello there m'lady. Why are you crying? Are you not happy to see me alive?"

Astrid immediately started wiping the tears off her face and continued, "What no! These tears are tears of happiness! I was worried about you!"

" Enough about me already, now I need to worry about you. I heard from Heather that you have not been taking your daily meals. Astrid I know your worried about me but you need to care for yourself too. So now, you will go and eat, with the others."

"But-"

"Astrid please, please listen to me."
" Fine! But under one condition, you have to come along. Deal?"

Hiccup nodded.

<Meanwhile>

The gang was at the dining table enjoying the meal that Heather had made.

"I can never going back to eating normal food after this!" Tuffnut said with Glee.

"You do know that the only reason Heather is here is to stay by Astrid's side right?" Ruffnut replied.

Just then, Heather walked in, smiling from ear to ear.

"Heather! We were just talking about you!" Snotlout said.

"Heather! What are you smiling about? Astrid is not even here?" Fishlegs asked.

"Don't worry, she's coming, she just has to do something real quick." Heather said with a giggle at the end.

Just then, Astrid walked in but there was a arm around her. It was Hiccup's!

"Hiccup!" The gang (except for heather) said in unison.

"Hiccup what are you doing here! Your still recovering! You should be in your bed resting!" Fishlegs said hurringly.

"Oh! Well I-I wanted to get some fresh air! Yeah! That's all! Nothing else!" Hicup replied.

The couple looked at each other and Astrid giggled.

The gang knew that Hiccup was lying. They all knew that the only reason Hiccup came out was for Astrid. After all, Hiccup was a terrible liar.
