Prof. Avengoza's POV

I was in the middle of lecturing when a knock was heard on the door. Not long enough it revealed Callen Salvatore, the very girl who's not taking my subject seriously.

Wearing her so ever smug grin before she enters the room.

"Good morning, Prof. Avengoza. Good morning, classmates!"

The audacity. Don't get me wrong I have no issues with her, but I abhor her attitude towards my subject.

I even asked my ninong, Mr. Torres kung anong klaseng estudyante si Salvatore sa klase niya, I would prefer to call them by their surnames. First name basis? Probably if outside the university.

Apparently, she's a genius student. I was really disappointed when she got the lowest score from the last quiz.

What even made me boil up was when she only wrote the literal title of the book I asked for them to read. Am I too much for that task? I gave them enough time, two weeks after this subject started for this semester.

For this day, the topic is about William Shakespeare and his works. A very prominent and important figure for this subject, alam ko na ilan sa kanila sasabihin na sobrang boring ng subject na 'to na puro mga may babasahin na lang at iaanalyze.

But those kinds of students who don't understand minor subjects can also help them to broaden their knowledge.

Teaching was not my dream profession, I want to be in the field of medicine but because of my parents' influence, my mother who was a professor in college for 30 years, and my father who was once a school director some long time ago to this university I'm currently working on pero nag-retiro na siya.

Although my father was the school director here, I didn't graduate from this university. I had it easy to get in here because of my dad..but don't get me wrong, I've never abused the influence he has on this ground.

I cleared my throat, "Can anyone of the class share some famous lines of William Shakespeare from his literary works?" I formally ask the class. I don't know why I have this feeling for them na I'm just probably two or three years older from them pero ang tingin ko sa sarili ko parang nasa 40s na ang age ko.
