It was finally the day of the final. Both teams were having their pre-game fielding practice. Emi stood on the dugout helping the other players to stretch if they needed to and giving them water. She watched Miyuki in worry, despite his reassurrance yesterday and how he seemed to move well during the practice at the moment, she still felt a little hesitant in letting him play.

"Sawamura, did you use the restroom? I'll tag along," Miyuki asked the southpaw pitcher, trying to annoy Sawamura. The team finished their pre-game fielding practice and gathered in the dugout.

"I can go on my own, thank you!" Sawamura retorted.

"Oh, you can?" Miyuki continued to push on as he walked into the changing room where Emi was waiting for him with a towel in hand.

"Who are you? My mom?" Sawamura complained to which Miyuki only let out an annoying laugh to tease the southpaw even more.

"Are you sure you are okay to play today?" Emi whispered still worried for Miyuki as he wiped off his sweat.

"I am sure, I told you not to worry, remember?" Miyuki replied, his voice, muffled due to the towel.

"It's hard not to worry when I know you are actually hurt," Emi said scolded the boy calmly, "How's your side?"

"It's manageable," Miyuki told her as he let out a tired sigh before putting back on his sports glasses.

"I have to say, I'm impressed," a new voice rang through the changing room receiving the couple's attention. Emi peeked over Miyuki's shoulder only to find Kuramochi glaring at the catcher. The captain, however, stood his ground, knowing exactly who it was. "Is it because you're the captain? Or is it your ego as a player? You even made Emi-chan promise to hide your injury from the managers, us, Rei-san, and the coaches. If you're gonna be obstinate about it, you'd better not budge until the end," Kuramochi ordered, "break down after we win."

"Mochi-senpai..." Emi whispered quietly but before the girl could say anything to the shortstop, he turned around and walked back to the dugout to let the couple have their small moment.

"Well, I guess we saw that coming," Miyuki said softly turning his head to look at Emi. The girl didn't say anything but look at the captain in worry before letting out a sigh.

"Stopping you from playing baseball is impossible, isn't it, Kazuya?" Emi said softly placing her hand on his cheek while staring into his deep brown eyes with soft eyes.

"I can't and won't let the team down," Miyuki said quietly leaning his forehead onto hers, "we are so close to Koshien, I have-- no, want to play," he told her sincerely.

"I know," Emi whispered caressing his cheeks, "I know. But you better be careful, Kazuya, or else you are going to receive another injury from me."

"Yes, ma'am."

Emi now sat beside Takako, Haruno, and Yui as the game began with Yakushi playing defense first. Mishima was the starting pitcher for Yakushi and always, Kuramochi was the first up batting. The shortstop was able to get to first base after putting up good fight against Mishima. Reaching first base, the cheetah decided to take a huge lead from his base annoying Mishima. As Mishima pitched against Tojou, who was second up batting, Kuramochi took the chance and stole another base.

"WOW!" Sawamura exclaimed, "HIS LEGS! HIS LEGS... HIS LEGS.. HE'S A LEG DEMON! A LEG SPIRIT? A LEG DANDY?"

"JUST PRAISE ME NORMALLY!" Kuramochi shouted annoyed at his roommate's attempt to give him a new nickname.

"Mochi-senpai is unstoppable when he is on base," Emi praised her upperclassman.

"He really is," Haruno agreed.
