"Nori-senpai! You got this!" Emi cheered from the stands.

"Stay sharp, Nori-senpai! They swing at first pitch!" Sawamura cheered on.

With Kawakami on the mound, things seemed to get back on track, with the third-year pitcher throwing good strikes and also with Miyuki's perfect and on point calls. Seido easily got three outs, and it was Yura's turn to stay on defense.

"Batting fourth, catcher, Miyuki-kun."

"Earn that run, you handsome bastard!" Emi shouted at her boyfriend, making the managers beside her sweatdrop at the manager's cheer.

The first pitch was a ball, to which Miyuki didn't even react to it. At the second pitch, the captain swung his bat, hitting it far away. A home run for Seido. The crowd cheered loudly. After Miyuki, Maezono, Tojou, and the others followed along, scoring a few more runs for Seido.

Up until the top of the sixth inning, Seido managed to keep Yura Sogo scoreless. But until the end, Seido was still able to score a few more runs. At the end of the seventh inning, Yuuki Masashi ended the game with a beautiful home run.

Emi let out a squeal, running towards Kawakami, jumping on his back.

"Nori-senpai! Nice pitch!" The girl exclaimed happily, turning to the younger Yuuki who stood beside the third-year pitcher, along with Kaoru. "Masashi-kun, nice batting."

"Thank you, Emi-chan." Kawakami patted her arms that were around his neck as she was still on his back. "But I can't really breathe with you on my back."

"Stop trying to kill my pitchers, Emi. How many times do I have to tell you that? " Miyuki teased the girl. Emi jumped off from Kawakami's and ran towards her boyfriend, circling her arms around his neck.

"Nice home run, Kazuya," Emi smiled at him.

"Gross. Please restrain yourselves from eating each other's faces out." Kuramochi gave them a disgusted face.

"Don't mind him, he's just jealous," Miyuki teased. Emi blushed, lightly punching the captain's chest as he leaned to give her a kiss on her cheek.

"Where is Sawamura?" Emi looked around for her friend.

"He might be with Okumura. The two of them have been quite close to each other these past few weeks."

"Of course they would, Okumura-kun have been following Sawamura around like a curious and loyal puppy ever since that night he first caught Sawamura's pitches." Emi snickered slightly. "But he must have been tense in this game, I just want to make sure he is alright."

"I am sure he is going to be alright," Kuramochi said, "We should have scored a few more runs in the beginning to help him relax. It was partially our fault too."

"We all understood his feeling out there. He is not the one to blame for today." Shirasu told the manager.

"I still feel like we could have done something about his pitching," Emi muttered under her breath, "He had been playing so well the past few months, was it the ace number?"

"Who knows. I am sure that he will get over what happened today."

"He was acting all idiot after the game, he's fine." Kuramochi walked away from the couple, "Come on, we should watch the next game. Emi-chan, are you coming with us?"

The manager shook her head.

"Huh?" The players looked at her in question. She would usually accompany them to watch their opponent's games during tournaments. Her rejection felt a little strange for them.
