Cindy's POV

"What's this?" Manager looked at me and raised an eyebrow. "Uhm, it's a resignation letter Ma'am." It's clearly written above.

"I'm not blind Cindy. I'm asking why you're resigning."

"Yes of course. It's because I'm going to start working in the hospital as a trainee Ma'am."

"Oh, is that so? Well, can you at least work tonight?"

"Yes of course Ma'am." "Good. It's weekends tomorrow so I still have time to look for other part timers." She talked but more to herself.

"Ok Ma'am." I said and started dusting the counter. I'm glad she finally agreed since I've been working here for a long time and I had other reasons too before as to why I must go but don't get me wrong, the pay is good here since I am hardly the person handling the store, however, since its too busy here at night, I get so tired to even do my stuff for my studies.

"Clean the door and the window too, if you can." She said and left the store. I saw her red Lamborghini drive away and sighed. It's just an hour more before the closing and a few customers inside right now.

"How much is this?" A brunette girl waved a product in front of me too close and I stepped back in surprise. Not too polite I see.

"That brand of milk is 10$, Miss." "Hmm. Is this the only milk you have?" She asked and rolled her eyes at me.

"Um no, there are more in aisle 7. If you could go there and see for yourself what you'd like, that would be so great." I forced myself to show a small smile and she just hmmp'd me.

"My god. Seriously." I frowned. Why are kids so rude nowadays?

Few minutes after, there were no more customers and so I decided to close the store. I stared at the door knob. It was a week since that incident happened. It's my last day so I truly hope that none of that happens again.

I laughed at my silly thought. How's that supposed to happen again anyway?

Later, as I was taking a cold bath. I heard a car outside. No no. That's a lot of cars, not just one. My god what is wrong again?

I dried myself immediately, then wrapped my body in my towel. I peeked outside from my window, slightly opening the curtain.

"What the hell?" I saw a lot of black cars and as well as people outside wearing tuxedos like some rich bodyguards. Then, a white and red van arrived and people holding large cameras came out.

Am I seeing this right? I rubbed my eyes and looked again but they're still there. Ohhh god! What are they doing here?!

"Hello anyone there?" I heard numerous people calling outside.

I hurriedly ran to my closet and put on literally anything that my hand first grabbed. After dressing up, I ran to my door and looked outside.

Suddenly, I heard a kid's voice.

"Is anyone home?" Wait... I heard this voice before... Don't fucking joke with me.

I opened the gate and saw the kid from last week.

He suddenly hugged my legs and I felt like a bucket of cold water splashed all over me. Then, I heard cameras clicking everywhere and the little boy smiled at me so happily.

"Hey." I glanced up and saw the kid's father stretch out his hand to me.

"Let's talk." He says.

Earlier I was thinking of rejecting him but I figured that they won't leave me alone until I join this show so I said yes and now I'm sitting inside the car that is driving to his house or mansion I guess. God, I don't know anymore.

"Nice dress btw." I looked at myself and suddenly realized that my dress is fine but its ridden up so much that my legs is exposed to him.

"Yea. Thanks." I replied and fixed my dress. Damn him. Who does he think he is huh?!

"Stop." He ordered to the driver. I looked at him surprised. I thought we were supposed to talk in his house.

"You can go down from here. The train station is two minutes' walk from here."

"Umm. Aren't we supposed to talk about something?"

"Yes, but you will see it anyway in the news tomorrow so." He spoke very nonchalantly without even looking at me.

"I see. Then, have a good night." I said and bid the little boy goodbye as well. I got out of the car and they drove away quickly.
