Chapter 8: Sabrina

Cindy's POV

"Ohh! You're Cindy? I've heard a lot about you!"

"Uhhh?" I am totally dumfounded.

"I wanted to meet you since forever because I heard you two were best friends." The Sabrina hugged me and then went to Dwayne's side to hug his arm.

"Umm.. yes. We live in the same apartment. Did he tell you that?"

"Yes, he did. I think you're really close and well, nothing's wrong with that since it has two bedrooms, right baby?"

Dwayne smiled and nodded. He hugged her waist and looked at me like he doesn't like what is going on but he is trying to act like he isn't found out.

"I'll see you back at the apartment Cindy." He finally said and I just smiled at them and said yes. I don't think I can go back to Auntie's after all this...

But, in the end, I went back to the condo and fortunately, Auntie was already sleeping and so I just sat on the couch. Staring hard on the wall. Wondering and screaming inside.

In the morning, I drove her to the airport and saw her depart. I was so close to hugging her and cry but I couldn't. I don't want her to be worried.

"Cindy?" Dwayne opened the door for me, looking surprisingly worried.

"Oh, hey Dwayne." I greeted uninterestedly.

"Where did you sleep last night?"

"Ohh, I slept at Auntie's. Didn't you read my text?" I didn't bother to look at him as I walked towards my bedroom.

"Did you text me? My phone is charging I forgot to charge it last night." He tried to catch up on me and when he did, he stopped me on the door.

"I want to rest Dwayne." I said not looking at him in the eye.

"I am so sorry Cindy. Please let's talk." I just gently shoved him out of the way and sat down on my bed.

"Indeed. I wanted to tell you that I got accepted in the hospital." Liar. You didn't.

"And, I will stay in my Auntie's condo. Can you help me pack my stuff again if you don't mind?" Another lie. The condo can't be used because it's not yours and how can you even tell her and ask to borrow the condo? That would just make her suspicious of what's happening.

"You can stay. I mean I will not be here most of the day because of my duty. You don't have to leave." He knelt and I looked at him like I couldn't even care less.

"Sabrina is a nice girl. I shouldn't stay with someone with a girlfriend, so..." When I tried to stand up, he grabbed me by the hand and pleaded.

"No, no, no, it was just a mistake. I will break up with her, please baby..."

"Are you--- Oh, god, just stop it Dwayne." I stood up and forcefully removes his hands on my hands.

"Get out if you're not helping me pack." I can't believe he is saying that like breaking another girl's heart is nothing.

Taking a deep breath, i thought that I don't want to be frustrated and he might leave me alone if I act nice.

So, I forced a smile and held his hand. "Look, I am not mad at you. Just please do what is right. I will pack now, you should go, okay?"

After I said that he smiled and suddenly kissed me on my lips, taking me by surprise.

"What the hell! Get off me!" I pushed his face away but he is obviously stronger.

I cried out when he forcefully kissed me again as he bites my lips like he wants it to bleed and taste the blood. His hands grabbed both of my wrists and kicked my knees so I would lose balance and fall on the bed behind.

"Please, D-dwaynee! Stop! NOOO!" No matter how much I struggled he is just too strong and heavy.

"You're being so rough! Noo!" My eyes flooded with tears, he kissed my tears on my cheeks and tried to comfort me as he rips my dress and grip on my waists tightly.

"It's okay baby..." He whispered while looking at me with a crazed look.

"You're hurting me... no please..." My voice came out as weak as a whisper and he laughed and said I am so cute. At that moment, I grabbed the lamp I managed to reach and hit his shoulder and head which made him get off me as he tries to block my attempts to hit him.

"Stay away!" I rushed out of the house while using the lamp like a weapon so he won't attempt anything. Until, I finally got out of the house and he just stood at the door and watched me drive away.

For a while, I was just driving and when I saw that it was already almost dark, I decided to find a gas station and sleep there for the night, but it looks like this is the other city which I'm unfamiliar with.

I turned the car around and went back on the main road.

"This feels like déjà vu. Funny." I got lost like this yesterday too. I wonder if the hospital is this way. Sure enough, it was.

Ten minutes later, I reached the hospital and so I decided that I would just sleep on the parking at the basement for tonight.

"Mmm, that spot at the back looks good." I drove all the way to the far back and finally, I opened the car door after I parked it and stepped out to stretch out my body that felt so stiff from sitting for a long time.

"Ohh! Finally, I can rest!" Mmmm, I wonder what he is doing now. Probably, with Sabrina and having the best time with her after he just tried to assault me.

"Hey, you can't park there." A man in suit suddenly showed up from behind, startling me.

"I'm sorry sir! I wil---"

"It's alright, let her be." Another man spoke.

"Ummm, it's okay si--- Hold on... you?!" What is he doing here?! Oh god please I had enough for today.

"Ohh. You're that woman, right?" He asked as his lips turns into a grin.
