JOHN B PULLS UP to meet up with Sarah Cameron to get the original survey map. In my hazy stoned state, I find myself in the Twinkie, my head cradled gently on his lap. JJ's fingers dance through the curls of my messy hair, sending shivers down my spine.
John B's sudden appearance at the window jolts me from my bliss. I lazily exhale a cloud of smoke as I respond.
"Hit it, boys! We're goin'." JJ said in a deep and ridiculous voice, making me giggle and laugh at how stupid he sounded. "Recon mission." JJ spoke normally again, smiling at me laughing.
John stopped at the door, and glanced at me and Kie, which makes me roll my eyes. "Yo, uh.. so, I think I'm gonna do this one by myself.."
"Tonight." John B finished.
JJ took off his cap and placed it on my head, "Really?" I play with the lighter as I listen to JJ and John b talk, "What?" He asks with a groan.
"Nothin', brother." JJ shrugs making John b sigh.
"Look, I just don't want to spook Sarah with the peanut gallery." John b shrugs, and I glare at him, sitting up as I do.
"Why do you care what Sarah fucking Cameron thinks?" I narrow my eyes at him, getting pissed.
"This is why you are not coming, you will kill her." John b mumbles, making me widen my eyes.
"Sarah might not be the only one." I scoff out, glaring daggers at him.
"I just don't understand why we're involving her at all." Kie groans, making me hum in agreement.
I hand JJ the blunt, making him take a few puffs of it as he does.
"Kie, we're not involving her, okay?" John b looks up, clearly starting to get fed up with us, but he can't really blame us, it's Sarah. "It's- it's just like a uhm- like a- a business meeting."
JJ gets the blunt and bobbing his head up and down on it, mocking John B and Sarah. I glare at JJ making him stop, giving me an awkward guilty smile while Pope chuckled.
I nod my head in anger, "Right, okay." I cross my arms and scoff.
"Look once we get what we need, we cut her loose, alright?" John B reassures us but we don't believe him.
John B shrugs, "Plus we need the map."
I sit near John B, and look him in his eyes. "John B, you have to promise me, nothing is happening between you two." My eyelids drop as I look at him.
