I drove four of us to school today. They'd all borrowed some of my clothes but I couldn't have it back, I had way too many. We all went separate ways once we were in the hallway.

I went quickly to my locker and swapped my books then headed for class. Class was a bit rowdy. Everyone hasn't settled so I made my way up to the back of class. On my way, I caught a glimpse of black long hair leaving the class.

For a second, I thought it was Kal but then again he's not the only one with long hair, I went up to my seat and on my locker there was a sticky note.

"Who left this here?" I murmured I read it. 'Good morning Angel, how are you doing? Could we have lunch together? Text me. --- Kal.'

A smile crept to my face so it was him. I texted him a 'No.' He sent a tough luck emoji causing me to laugh.

Another text came in. 'You look really pretty when you smile and laugh. K' I kept smiling.

'Are you stalking me?' I sent back then he sent a shrug emoji.

'Maybe?' I put my phone away shaking my head at the person on the other end of the phone.

I kept up to my plan of staying away from Cyril as much as I can and soon Kendal and I started doing everything together.

I noticed Bridget was quite busy and Cyril with Claudia aren't ways around so it left only Kendal and I for most of the week. Kal and I kept texting each other, he turned out to know so much about me, so now he's taken that up saying 'That's why I want us to be friends. So we can know about each other and support ourself plus, you're friends with my cousin.'

Though his reason was stupid but he deserved it. He somehow knew when I'm sad or angry then he texts me and all my worries floats away.

Today's Friday and as planned, Kendal and I are going to my place together. I swapped out my books for home work before Kendal came to me.

"Hey love." she greeted, leaning against the row of lockers.

"Hey, you ready to go?" I asked and she gave vigorous nods.

"So, how are you and Kal?" She teased and I just couldn't help my smile.

"The usual." I shrugged.

She laughed. "When will you guys decide to call texting quits to meet up and talk?" She asked and I laughed.

"Maybe tomorrow? I think I'm going too hard on him but he never complains so I'm thinking that at noon tomorrow, with permission from Lew of course, we'd go to your place for a change."

She beamed leaning off the lockers. "Really?" She squeaked.

"Yeah." I gave a nod closing my locker getting ready to leave.

"Wow, this totally made my weekend." She said side squeezing me, well hugging me. "Wait till you see what I had planned." We walked to my car, chatting about our day, till we got my house.

"Okay, so what do we do first?" Kendal asked.

"Lets cook." I told her and she scoffed.

"Lets? You don't even know how to boil a proper egg." She said packing her hair up.

"Yeah, but I've got you to teach me, Ah?" I said instead wiggling my eyebrows.

She sighed. "What do I do with you?"

"You love me too much." I said pecking her check.

"So what do you want to cook?" She asked.

"Well, I want to make Lewis' favorite food, so on his birthday I can make it for him." I told her.
